Hey Rob, I agree mate. I sent the owner pictures of the rusted out unit and an option to replace. Not only for the rust bust also the pipe run is too short. The owner just wanted to go ahead with the cheapest quote. This is a rental so I don’t think they care to be honest.

Hey Mitch, I’m currently getting a range of E error codes on a R410. Is the fact that I’m getting multiple especially bad news? I couldn’t find any info on getting more than one error

What errors are you getting? Do you remember any of the codes?

Brother ...hii from maldives ..we have ...VRV 3 in our resort ....it showing E9 error ..we have try everything ...but still same...can suggest ....any ......answer....its really helpfulll...thank u..and waiting for ur reply ...

That’s an issue with the Electronic Expansion Valve. You need to make sure it is plugged in correctly first and foremost. Then if that doesn’t solve it, test the expansion valve coil. If everything checks out, my be a faulty board but doubt it.

Bro, i got the same error code e1 but the mini split Daikin its conventional, not inverter, do you know What is the error what piece or something like that.....

@@DanielRamirez-pd6ix no worries mate. That error code indicates the outdoor PCB was d faulty. Check to see if power is being supplied to board and if all fuses have power both sides

I’m afraid Daikin quality is not what it was. I’m guessing that’s a Q series. Can’t be more than 7 year old and to rust away like that is not what I’d expect from a premium manufacturer.

I agree. It’s a QVMA so not old by any means. This job is about 7 minute drive to the beach, so it’s somewhat close to salt air but I still don’t think it should rust out like that. Pretty poor.
