Quick weld up and its up again, here in the states is hard enough to find parts i bet you a few welds are more cost efficient than a whole new gear that size. Gotta stay on the road aint no time to wait on parts i bet you those welds got them to their destination and their paychecks 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah until welds start sending shavings throughout the axle tube and destroy everything. Cost effective for dodgy mechanics who rip off customers

Consider for a moment the amount of force it took to break that gear now picture that weld holding, it's not going to. The result of this patch up will be total differential distruction. I would give them an "E" for efford because they did make it "look" good.

Походу левую ерунду делают. Там видно что деталь имеет термообработку серьезную. В ихних условиях это не выполнимо. Брак. Лишбы что-то приварить.

@@gabrielraya7472 There's no way the gears are meshing properly. You can't just guess and grind. There's no way the repaired teeth are hardened properly. I appreciate the need to make such repairs and the hard work, but I don't believe it lasted very long unless you take it apart again and show that it's working okay.

They are the worst owners of vehicles that I've ever seen. Every video I've seen of rear ends to gear boxes has severe damages. I'm 51 and have never seen these types of damages in my whole life.

So many problems with this repair , for starters they grind the tooth and spray sparks all over the good teeth , then arck weld without pre heating the complete part , then allow welding splatter to splatter all over the good teeth , but there is so many more issues and I can't be bothered writing a long list

LOL, this was obviously a practical joke video... In reality they repaired it by gluing a 3D printed PVC part and it has been holding fine to the stress ever since because you know it's not like these things are made of high strength heat treated steels for a reason ... I especially loved the "meshing test" at the end where he rolled a hypoid pinion at a near right angle on it

If that is a mild steel weld as it would seam then he has wasted his time, it may look good but soft metal teeth with not last a week.
