Repair work to the Elizabeth Tower that houses Big Ben - BBC London News
The Palace of Westminster faces one of the biggest restoration projects of its kind costing billions of pounds. Some parts of the Palace are in such a bad state of repair that work is already underway. Riz Lateef has been given access to the Elizabeth Tower best known for housing Big Ben.

She was right about the clock chiming for 6 monarchs but she was wrong about it chiming for 29 prime minister's it's chimed for more than that I counted them but I lost count
Big ben: it hurts being hitted by this hammer looking like hitter just to make me sound me out loud Elizabeth tower: well thats our job being famous and keeping accurate time, your a giant bell the makes me sound and im a clock tower, i cant go anywhere but can see everything because im tall and also your not the only bell that i have, i have 4 small bells.

what did the homeless do to deserve anything?? yeah, its bad, but come on, they obviously have done nothing to deserve anything. If they pay organizations to maybe help these homeless people get jobs to earn money on their own, I'd support.

@@gooseb4633 as you will hear it said in the video Big Ben is a quality timepiece aka most photographed landmark in the world and it has to be kept running for years to come
