First, the education system's long-standing issue cannot be blamed on one person. Educators and parents need to address this together. After Grade 8, replace unnecessary subjects with a practical curriculum. Fast learners should focus on career-related subjects like Computers, Math, Physics, Technology, and Languages. Graduates often lack job readiness due to this oversight. Moreover, many educators struggle to handle advanced classes. Allow fast learners to progress, while those facing challenges should receive proper orientation on the basics of learning. This approach enables both categories to achieve their goals without aggravating each other.

Curriculum is sufficient. The problem is commitment to teach these. Disallow Deped employees to moonlight or do part time teaching. They should focus on their students.

Child matters, they should have more learning opportunity to Think Critically, Comprehend, Communicate, Creative, and Collaborate. These pillars should be implemented thoroughly in instruction, which complements the learning styles of students along with teacher training and revision of instructional material and medium of instruction. Karen, I believe it's time to align our curriculum with North America because, honestly, we are falling behind. Just imagine, Karen, a 4-year bachelor's degree in our country, when assessed here in Canada, is only equivalent to 2 years of study. Hindi sa inaasar kita, pero kung maaari sana ay gumamit kayo ng punctuation marks kapag nagsusulat kagaya ng period at comma para mas madaling intindihin ang inyong gustong ipahayag. Maganda ring hatiin sa mga paragraphs ang mga sinusulat natin lalo't may kahabaan para mas epektibo ang komunikasyon at mailalahad natin nang maayos ang ating mga ideya. Kagaya ng sinabi mo na sinabi rin ng guest, dapat makuha ang interes ng mga mag-aaral. At tama sya, kailangan ang reading comprehension para magkaroon ng interes ang mga bata sa aralin. Ang inbinigay nga niyang halimbawa ay mga grade 10 na nag da drop out na lang, hindi dahil sa kahirapan kungdi dahil sa kawalan ng interes. Kasi nga naman, paano sila magkakainteres matuto kung hindi nila naiintindihan ang aralin dahil mahina ang reading comprehension.
