Shame on the news media for keeping a closed lid on this utterly deplorable yet astronomically important matter. And THANK YOU for giving voice to this story and for serving as a constant reminder to law enforcement that these precious lives shall never be forgotten and that their stories shall indeed be told. I remember hearing about the discovery of Cion's body as well as the subsequent murder of the young man which local authorities had labeled a suicide, and I found it extremely unnerving how virtually no mention had been made about either case ever since. And now, upon learning that there are at least four additional murders plus a suspicious disappearance that all seem to be connected to Cion's murder, I am utterly sickened by the dismissive response by law enforcement and their seemingly apathetic regard for human life. I am reluctant to speculate as to what the motives behind these deaths may be, however, it doesn't take a specialized FBI task force to form a pretty clear picture of what might be at play when six Black men end up either missing or found dead under highly suspicious and gruesome conditions in a small, rural Southern town. Unfortunately, as much progress as our nation has made in the 150 years since the end of slavery, the sad truth remains that whether its 1824, 1924, or 2024, Black lives face the same threats, injustices, inequalities and disregard as always. Now, while there is also the unfortunate possibility that these young men may have died at the hands of other Black men - yet another tragic reality our community endures - the specific nature of the murders and the suspicious reaction by law enforcement suggests that this is most likely the handiwork of "good ole boys" - probably a collaborative effort by the Klan and law enforcement (which are still quite often one in the same in this nation.) Very scary and overwhelmingly sad.

This deserve so much attention !God reveal it please.We have came too far to still have this kind of activity.

I suggest people put up surveillance cameras all over the place, and wild game cameras all over the forest, without making it common knowledge. Something crazy is going on in this town and the fact that black men are being murdered and the murders going “unsolved“ is completely unacceptable. Reopen Thylea's case . I saw her picture on the fence in the beginning of this video .this case was in the last week of June. Her birthday week in north chesterfield in1995 . . They found her bloody clothes but not her or her car .and I think they know who has done it.

My guess on the first kid is they took him to that shed, killed him and mutilated him then took him to the wooded area where he was found then went back and burned that shed ASAP, i dont know WHO did it but i think thats what happened.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you find the answers or perhaps you already have. I know what it is like to live in a small town. And not get any answers. And every time I go looking for answers trying to do my own investigation. I get silenced. I get 4 court cases because I wanted another case reopened. And when he told me it was a closed case. The sergeant told me it was a closed said, but I have no evidenhe didn't want to hear It. It was a closed case. I have 4 quiet things because I told him I was gonna get to internal affairs and I embarrassed him in front of his comrades. I believe that retaliated. So my case still stays closed. That's funny as struggling to try to find answers. And I was silenced every time or evidence of my phone disappeared mysteriously. So I know the frustration. For I too, but now I'm tired. I can't fight no more. Too many. Yes, I'm trying to fight. Not only this case but my technology case, I'm tired. I'm just tired. I can't get myself to continue on with feel as if I do. I almost had a nervous breakdown a few years back. And I'm so afraid it scared me. Horizon alone in the middle of the woods. Just crying except that I could not stop crying for 3 days. Even if I tried there was no more tears, there was no more sound coming out of my mouth. But I was crying that scared me. That never happened to me in my life. That song, can you? I forget who was saying that something about the lyrics. Can you die from a broken from a broken heart? Well, I'm still alive. It would have been easier had. I died from a broken heart for now. I guess I've tried to wrap the trauma. Disappointment at the disappointment. Shall I? My heart goes out to you. And if you have not found your answers. I prayed that you do for right now. Since when do investigators do not investigate or interview the people who last saw the victim alive mainly the family. Unless they are already aware of who committed the crime and they are protecting that person. Common sense it has to be a member of law enforcement or a family member of law enforcement.
