I ALWAYS enjoy your updates. 😊 I saw your Insta update and thought I’d visit KZread to see the entire video. Thanks for sharing your plans for the laundry room. I, too, have a room with a dryer and freezer from a previous owner. I have often wondered how they got them into the room. 🤔

I can’t wait for you to put the kitchen together!! I don’t know how you can contain yourself!! I’d have cabinets everywhere, in various stages of build! 🤷🏼‍♀️😹😹😹 You could always use a beam instead of the load-bearing wall… if you REALLY, wanted the room bigger. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ I was really happy to see Piper in this video!! ❤️❤️😻😻😻 I couldn’t remember if she was in the last one. Lastly, you’re doing a fabulous job!! You’ve picked yourself up, dusted yourself off and are moving forward again - and even cracking jokes about things! It takes time to recover from a breakup like yours, so start slowly and gear up as you’re ready. I foresee great happiness in your future!! 😻😻But you may have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince! 😉😹😹

No idea if this is how they did, BUT when I moved into my house with only a 22 inch doorway to the basement. I actually completely dismantled my dryer and move the parts and then reassembled downstairs. I had heard talk of neighbors that have cut holes in the floor to lower washer and dryers down. Old houses are no joke!

I'm always amazed at the American basement, all those giant cylinders, what are they? We have nothing like that over here. Our heating all controlled by a Combi-boiler and the emersion heaters and water tanks are out dated and have been removed from most homes now (assuming that is what they are), can you not have a combiner's-boiler in the US? Stay strong and keep going 😊

Here’s a rundown on the cylinders I can see in Emily’s video. That big huge black cylinder is a 275 gallon oil tank that supplies fuel used for the heat, hot water, and in some homes the air conditioning. I was always tempted to paint mine to look like a cartoon train complete with people in painted windows. That tall yellow-orange cylinder is the hot water heater tank. If you have a big soaking tub, you need an 80 gallon hot water tank (heater), or a 50 gallon with a 30 gallon attached circulating storage tank, otherwise there’s not enough hot water to fill the big tub and run the other hot water needs in the house. That Grey cylinder thing up above is an overflow tank for the hot water heater, kind of a fail safe. That light blue cylinder holds clean well water that’s pumped in from a water source until the tank is full. The light green cylinder is a water softener plant with controls in the box attached at top

Get a local HVAC (heating and cooling) company to inspect the flu on your boiler. I think you are getting carbon monoxide in your house.

Be careful with the amount of spray paint you use because it contains cfc’s. That is the chemical deteriorating at the ozone
