What you failed to miss with that last censor bar since it went by so fast was this exact quote: “How all occasions do inform against me, and spur my dull revenge! What is a man, if his chief good and market of his time be but to sleep and feed? A beast, no more. Sure, he that made us with such large discourse, looking before and after, gave us not that capability and god-like reason to fust in us unused. Now, whether it be bestial oblivion, or some craven scruple of thinking too precisely on the event, a thought which quarter’d, hath be one part wisdom and ever three parts coward, I do not know why yet I live to say ‘This thing’s to do.’ Sith I have cause and will and strength and means to do’t. Examples gross as earth exhort me: witness this army of such mass and charge led by a delicate and tender prince, whose spirit with divine ambition puff’d makes mouths at the invisible event, exposing what is mortal and unsure to all that fortune, death and danger dare, even for an egg-shell. Rightly to be great is not to stir without great argument, but greatly to find quarrel in a straw when honour’s at the stake. How stand I then, that have a father kill’d, a mother stain’d, excitements of my reason and my blood, and let all sleep, while, to my shame, I see the imminent death of twenty thousand men, that, for a fantasy and trick of fame, go to their graves like beds, fight for a plot whereon the numbers cannot try the cause, which is not tomb enough and continent to hide the slain? O, from this time forth, my thoughts be bloody, or be nothing worth! Yeah, that’s right. I got so tired of using these black squares to block out stupid shit that I decided to use one of them to give you some Shakespeare. I covered a giant animal schlong with Shakespeare! @@dude9410 he was a hit man hired to recover the money Llewellyn stole. That's pretty much his only motivation throughout the film.
There's this idea that the intended comedy of the film is not the film itself, but rather the reaction of people watching it. If that is true, this movie is actually really smart
There's three types of torture in the world. There's torture that you understand is terrible, but in some strange way it's enjoyable. Something that a lot of people think is good because it's terrible. There's torture that you have to sit through because it's being done wrong, it goes for the cheap motives, it lingers on for far too long, it steals others ideas that were done perfectly and poorly attempts to replicate it, and all you can do is wait till they decide to stop wasting your time. Then there's this. If you had chosen to leave this alone for your own good, nobody would have blamed you.
Honestly, I'm kinda in the same boat as Doug Walker on this particular film. I can't say I love it, but I don't despise it either. Knowing that Tom Greene wanted this film to be terrible and the humor he tried to pull off with it, it's... it's quite the enigma with me. It's a film that fascinates me, and not in the typical "so bad it's good" way. I think it deserves its own category.

You know, hearing that bit about him going into a synagogue dressed as Adolf Hitler and getting his show canceled for it? Morbid curiosity led me to look into that...and apparently, it never happened. It’s impossible to sum up this movie in just a sentence so throwing out my better judgement I’ll just use every fiber of my being to attempt to do said feat. “This movie is like watching that one annoying guy who does everything in his power to get a reaction out of a British royal guard standing in front of a gate.” Quote by some random dude with a monster hunter icon. Seriously Tom Green is that one guy and everyone who watches this Annoying Insanity is said royal guard. You can’t react in any way otherwise he accomplishes his goal which makes it all the more frustrating.
I originally thought that "Freddy Got Fingered" was about a guy named Freddy who gets flipped off (aka gets the middle finger) and since it was the first time someone offended him, it changed him and dirty humor ensues throughout the movie, I never thought the film would be like this!

i dont get why people hate this movie so much? Its always been super funny to me, nothing deep behind it, just a certain type of crazy/absurd humor that i enjoy. I get not liking movies, but the need to hate on this movie in particular so much seems like the hate is rooted in something deeper of some sort. And often the ones hating on it so passionately seem to be more of the "intellectual type" of people that tend to take themselves a bit too seriously. Maybe a tad snob'ish you might say. i dont know. maybe someone has some clarity on this that is not rooted emotions?
