I learned to drive in one and its the best car ever made

Nice and clean, but you should do those tests of brutal cars on the autobahn. Those narrow streets are not a good fit for such a powerful machine

It’s proof that you don’t need eleventy-bajillion horsepower to have huge amounts of fun behind the wheel. As James May once said during his Fiat Panda review in Series 18 of Top Gear, “it’s not actually about how much power you have, it’s about how much power you can use.” …and cue all the young, immature Ferrari/Lamborghini fanboys - who likely aren’t even of legal driving age - who will probably disagree with that statement.

You can find twingos from 200 to 4500 euros in the nl

I also have a Twingo, a 93 1.3 version in very original condition. It's by far the most fun to drive car I've ever had. It clings to the road like glue and the acceleration is astonishing, for such a small, cheap car. We also have a WV Lupo and while it's a good car, it's also BORING, compared to the Twingo. I paid less than $500 (equivalent) for the Twingo.

I got twingo, i just have 2 racing seats and racing steering wheel. Everything is taken out. It has about 770kg. And 200 is possible and i can eat every older bmw and audi 😂

I had the same car and i thought i had finished with it for good when i sold it. Now i am watching all the good feelings this car offers and i am ready to come back to driving like a maniac and cruising at 90 kmh with my left foot on the footrest below the steering wheel. Thank you for this nice reminder that i have to become again a twingo driver

You should try 16V version. I got one ;) Mine is also very well equiped. 4 Airbags, aircondition, leather seats. Fastest I've driven? 175 km/h. And I think that it wasn't it's max speed.

8V can run 180, but it is not good for engine. I think 16V can run 200, but they have to be in good shape (oil, filters, everything), and you have to drive them often in high speed.. If you drive 2 years only in city, then maximal 160..

I also got a 16v Phase 2 twingo 1, mine went 193km maximum with different air filter in germany. These things rock for in the city but on the highway its a slug

@@OfficialXiaoLing 8v d7v goes to 7.000 rpm, and that is 190 km/h tacho and ca. 175 km/h gps.. 80% of these cars are fucked up and driven by women, but if you put parts in and drive them faster they are ok (800kg). On dyno 8v does 200 km/h 😅👍
