I fell in love with these on a school trip to Paris in 1997. Nice to see one in this country!

Hi, Brand new subscriber here, I am Twingo Pack 2000 owner since new, Purchased in Boulogne Sur Mer Feb 2000. Over the years had exhaust, springs, 2 replacement speedos done. My last major work was 2nd cam belt, water pump exchange (West London garage). First .exchange was done in France at half the price. In the past month both door handles (cracked) changed, found them easily on eBay (I did find all the switches dirty and sticky a few years ago, took ages to clean (resorted to meths). My last job was changing both font indicator lenses (Purchased from an online shop in Latvia. Good luck with any new jobs.

Hi. I do own one 1.2 c.c. 16V mod 2009, but in Colombia (South America) these cars have no sunroof and no power steering. Here are beloved jewels. Low gas consumption, really cheap to mantain.

I have twingo too, 2000.11 d7f, with bresent roof , with grey color too

It's interesting to note it's UK registered but the headlamps needed deflectors. I'd have thought they'd already been done when the car gained a UK registration. I've just imported a 1997 car from the Netherlands and had to MOT it to UK standard before I could send off for a V5/C. I had to fit an auxiliary fog light as the rear lights are also tailored to LHD.

The Twingo Mk1 never had right hand headlight lenses. Nothing is compatible to swap out (unlinke the MK2 Twingo). Same for the Fog light. Most of its life it had a horrible trailer fog light mounted on its rear bumper. Ive converted the rear reverse light on he passenger side to a dual rear fog and reverse light.

why do you keep the rear seatbelts buckled?

I tested them ready for the UK MOT and left them there like that. Usually don't have them buckled up :)
