I too have a kiger ! Leeme tell u I completely agree with the owner! It's actually a underdog vis a vis market sentiments but a wholesome package in totality

Owner ka achhe se kaata salesman ne, gaadi manufacturing ki itni detailed info (aaj paint hui, alloy wheels lag gaye etc) kabhi bhi dealership ko pata nahi hoti. Good salesman btw, handled his client smartly. 😅

To be honest, I didn't buy this car only because I relied on online opinions more than personal experience, finally bought nline dct(which is a gorgeous car too), but I do like this car still, might get this for my wife in future if possible. My word of advice, never rely on comments and fake reviews, people miss on good products.. I love this car looks, and is absolute value for money too. ❤️ From me for his beauty.

Nice video well made MotorOctane👍 I own Kiger RXZ AMT Brown with Black Roof. I mostly agree to thaughts shared by this Kiger customer. I would like to share my thoughts, hope it helps: 1. Overall Kiger RXZ AMT is a nice VFM car under 10 lakhs on-road 2. Those looking for AMT (budget automatic) may go for this compared to sub-4 AMT sedans, AMT hatchback/Micro-SUVs, but keep in mind buy AMT ONLY & ONLY if you drive 95% of the time pyarse / sedeately, if you want even 30% of enthusiastic drive, please go for Turbo CVT/AT, don't go for AMT. Kiger Reverse Gear is pathatic even on slight slope or taking reverse with little speed too, feels as if someone is holding the car and the engine is trying to put a lot of effort to drive in reverse, other times it's just ok, Reverse camera comes On late not good for in traffic quick reversing + rain drops stick on reverse camera after raining, hampers it's effectiveness. In AMT 1-2 gear (any mode) there is a bit of jutter (difficult to explain in words, test drive and you'll realise), it's just not good. 3. 1.0 Natural Engine of Kiger is ok-ok only, nothing much, it's just to carry you from one place to another, not much driving pleasure, 5 people onboard no issues even on slopes or highway, but please don't expect it to bring a smile on your face, want that under budget go for 1.2L NA engine cars, else go for 1.0L Turbo options. 4. Drive modes in RXZ are not for show / not gimmick, they actually work, changes engine response, Gear response (AMT), stearing response. 5. Suspension is Amazing, comfortable ride in rough roads too, seats are a bit hard but fine no issues. 6. Space management, cabin + boot awasome, Renault should get award for that. 7. LED headlight are good, in darkness, but miss LED Projector headlights, specially when driving city roads with white street lights, overall not much of a problem. 8. Plastic quality is ok ok for the price, little rattling here & there but can live with it by increasing music volume. 9. Instrument cluster very good, touchscreen good only issue is direct sunlight reflection, Android Auto Wireless works well, very convenient. 10. Looks amazing inside out. But that's personal choice. 11. Driving dynamics are good, very little body roll on speedy cornering, (please don't do high speeds on corners or in general), was just testing, overall chipak ke chalti hai on highway as well as city roads, also can see Bonet with good visibility (with driver seat hight adjustment) 12. Really Sad very upset with Renault India for missing out on Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control System, Hill Start Assist and Cruise Control in Kiger RXZ (all varients), stupid cost cutting, if they wanted more money, could have offered RXZ (Optional) but should not have cut these features, Magnite Gets these then why Not Kiger? 13. Renault Service and Sales experience is good so far no issues, but we have to explain things to them politely & then follow up with them, then they work properly. Please Drive Safe and Take care 🙏

The suspensions were very hard is what i felt. Even when i was driving very slow over speed bumps. Ended up choosing Triber,instead.

I ride renault pulse since 2015 that too second owner, i really must say that renault engines are far far better then other competitors (except honda and suzuki).....really sad to know that people still buy less renault car....i can bet if you drive renault pulse 1200 CC vs other competitor car of same segment ,,, you will opt for renault pulse coz i drove this car for 50k km awesome pickup and top class long drive experience ..... good luck renault coz Renault is going a long path in india,,,, all new and old products renault made is Indian customer centric ,,,, kwid, pulse, triber now kiger ,,,, all are great products i wish i could buy kiger replacing with my pulse

I have Rxt Amt version… there is lot of engine noise and gear shifting issues.. also issue with AC…average is less than 15…would suggest to go for manual or CVT version..

5:09 ye koi problem nahi hai balki har car me yahi hota hai 😂😂 and at this moment rachit understood that this owner is new in the world of car because u can turn on the infotainment system inspite the car is off 😂😂😂

With too much research finally I bought kiger this month as they included many features in 2023 may models.. honest review is the car is very very good. At the price it is perfect. A little ergonomics problem like seat belt but you can buy seatbelt extentions etc.. otherwise the car is super product. Very satisfied with kiger.

Hi Sameer, were you aware of the tail light leaking of kiger when you booked it? There is some wheel cover issue going on and Renault is just doing some foam pad jugad, instead of fixing it. Are you having issues, if yes, what is your personal experience on this? Thank you

Brother I have Kiger RXZ AMT in same color DT, I agree pad/foaming thing is a "jugaad' that even I got it done on my Kiger, but atleast something is better than nothing, when I asked Renault Service center to open tail lights it was full of mud/dirt, so that's just foolish of Renault to do such cost cutting! Renault should not have done cost cutting on Rare/back wheel inside protection, but atleast they can give it in new Kiger's being manufactured in there plant now that they know of this issue but still lazyness ki haad, they still didn't do it, what to say!

Jazz no doubt, it is now the highest score in safety in 4 star rated cars and it is a great car especially its cvt is a gem but outer looks are not great..Amaze cvt is also great with best outer looks but fit and finish is lower than jazz

Same here Akshay. I too have honda city 2004 model. Its a legendary car with fantastic engine, superb built quality and smoothness. Till now not even a pin point engine issue and 16 years long still going forward!!!

@@mohdanasq7 it depends on occupants if there're more than 3 members there'll be discomfort.. on hot sunny day you'll feel slight discomfort irrespective of occupants.. happy to share anymore info

Till the last min of the vid I was waiting for some discussion over its most significant con - Engine noise and vibration but disappointed that this was skipped. I took a test drive of both Turbo and Non Turbo RXZ BS-2 yesterday and man, it's loud as a tractor. Seen many other 3 cylinder budget cars as well but Kiger is def one of the noisiest. Can't really expect it to be at the level of Exter's silent engine but they could've tuned it a bit better. Also, there's too much vibrations. It's def the best in class in terms of looks and spaces. Inferior cabin quality is manageable but man, Renault should really do something with this lousy engine.

I am the owner of a Kiger 2021 fully automatic model. On road price was 9.50 lakh. The car is very good for urban and rural areas ride. The only issue I am experiencing is when I apply the break on the hill if there is a traffic jam, the vehicle will go backward instead of going forward after releasing the break. So, when there is a traffic jam in such areas, I used to put the hand break plus break and would release both at the same time when the traffic jam is cleared on the hill road. Can someone explain how to sort this issue out?

What you are doing is the way to drive only inclination, no other way.

Swift manual or kiger turbo petrol Manual interms of better smooth engine and power .is 3 cylinder is match up with the performance of 4 cylinder Swift...?i like kiger very much unique style and also better groud clearnce compare to Swift but engine performance or durability ..that's still confusing .will go for Swift or kiger

Kiger is far better than Swift. It looks stunning, it's far more safer than Swift.

came to know that Renault is not providing fender lining for rear tires in Kiger which is causing mud accumulation near lights under the bumper. This issue aggravates when driving during rains or on wet muddy roads. Also, there are no updates from Renault about whether they will provide the part in future or not. As a work around they are fixing foam under the rear bumper just below tail lights to save the lights, but the Mud and dust will still accumulate on car metal body below the foam and hence this is not a permanent solution. There are issues with mud getting accumulated on car doors also when u drive in wet conditions and there is no permanent or temporary solution from Renault for it. These were the main issues because of which I decided not to got for this car. @motoroctain: Request if you can please provide any update over these issues and if you about how it can be resolved.
