    Have to agree, new primer and lines will fix it. Maybe remove the line and try and rig up a smoke test on a sealed line? What scanner are you using Sandy, is that the Autel?

    I know I'm adding to an old video but I had the same problem and after hours of searching it turns out it was the fuel pressure regulator, I hit it with a screwdriver and a spanner a few times gradually getting harder and it seems to have cured the problem so far 👍

    Just another addition, I have come to the conclusion that it must have been an air bubble stuck inside the regulator diaphragm because it has been good ever since👍 hope this helps

    Anyone have any idea where the cold start injector or the glow plug sensor module are located on a 2011 mk2 kangoo k9k? Cannot find under the bonnet or any exploded diagrams online showing where either are located.

    the high pressure test is for a leak test its for when you connect a leak off test kit then you activate this it fills bottles from the leak off pipes

  • @somervillearron

    @somervillearron

    basically you connect a tube to each leak off nipple and a bottle on each end and you activate this setting it then tests if your fuel injectors are failing sending too much fuel back surprised your working on cars and dont know that

    Hi Sandy. Fellow Scots lad here, my Kangoo is 2011 k9k800 engine. Will the k9k808 fit? Both are 1.5. But 808 is 90bhp. My wee bugger is 67 bhp? Thanks

    Still no joy? There must be a solution to this! 🤔 I have the same issue, slightly lumpy idle. I've noticed recently when it bogs down that it's been getting worse 🤔

    always use delphi filters every service or bosch and fuel injector cleaner aswel try a leak off test to see how your injectors are they have maybe started failing its good practice to add injector cleaner every service and dont use super market fuel either

    Another one here with the same issue. 2005 68 bhp dci Kangoo van, 112’000 miles. I’ve recently changed the cam belt. I did it myself so I know the timing is absolutely spot-on. The fuel filter has been changed to a genuine Renault one. Injectors are all good as the van runs nice and smooth once it eventually starts. The problem is getting it to start. First thing in the morning it will start first time, but during the day it gets worse and worse. The starter motor is good as that has recently been changed. Battery is good also. It’s just the bloody air in the fuel lines. I hate firing the parts cannon at a vehicle and hoping something sticks, but I’m scratching my head with this one. I have some witness marks of diesel staining under the EGR, so I’ll remove that and clean it again as it’s been a few years since that was last done. Any other ideas would be welcome?

    High pressure fuel rail sensor Or MAF sensor And slap on a new fuel filter with new seals These will fix the issues for this idle surge
