It is in no way mean to poke fun at this condition or make light of it's debilitating traits and impact on a person's overall well being. It is in hoped to be viewed as what a person with ADHD articulates what Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is really like vs what it is currently known as which to many living with ADHD perpetuates an generalised view of a complicated problem. This generated stigma and bias towards people living with ADHD.
I hope in making this video, to help end the tropes and perceived knowledge of how ADHD presents in an adult. I hope also to give language to feelings, we often who live with executive dysfunction, struggle to articulate and express the problem we are having or understanding.
I truly cannot express enough, how import the solidarity with other people also living with ADHD is. It can really help you improve your own self awareness. The more you learn about ADHD and how it presents in you, the easier it is to manage.
Through sharing our thoughts about that we increase the amount of chances to help ourselves and others with ADHD My deepest gratitude to those who had done that for me when I was undiagnosed and feeling very alone in this world. It gave me validation for much of my experiences by hearing about how they expressed theirs.
