I grew up on Beastie Boys and I completely missed this one when I was checking out Ren’s stuff! I just found him a few days ago and he really brings hope to me that music is making an upward turn. When I think of the tremendous talent that was stifled and subdued over the last two decades by the music industry, it’s just maddening. For instance, did anyone know that Britney Spears could belt out a deep, smoky gut punch, (like Chinchilla just did with Little Girl Gone) back in the day but they forced her to bubble gum, childlike herself for the mainstream? I LOVE that kids are giving the middle finger to labels right now so that we can get the REAL stuff! The kids are alright! Back to the video…lol

His fisher rap retake "Losing it" is pretty upbeat and fun!

Another upbeat AND positive track by Ren lyrically is "Power" the hook is frigging bananas!

I enjoyed your reaction. Thank you. Yes, "Chalk Outlines" for emotional cleansing and powerful singing. I have spent a month obsessed by this guy's talent. His version of "I Shot The Sherriff" with his old band, The Big Push reveals his excellent voice as it lifts the spirit. It is a good to take a breath and have a little Ren fun as well.

He is something very special and you have barely scratched the surface. Come join us deep down the rabbit hole. We might have cookies. I highly recommend Crutch feat. Bibi and Chalk Outlines with Chinchilla if you want to hear him sing in a heart wrenching way. Check out The Hunger for some rap rap. But also, due to your username, I really think you should check out Blind Eyed feat. Sam Tompkins and angry car park attendant 😂 Maybe check out the original MV first to know the song better, but either way it is mind blowing to see them all chill and killing the song while stuff goes wrong.

If your looking for feelgood music by ren try "losing it" and "bittersweet Symphony" as well as any of his busking videos or when he was in The Big Push band. When you get into his feels music Ren & Bibi doing Crutch was a hard one but beautiful.

You like a laugh, check out Ren: Blind Eyed featuring Angry Car Park Attendant. That is him and Sam Tompkins singing. This is not the ‘polished’ version, which you should also listen to. This one is fun. I won’t spoil it for you. I do think they were just testing the acoustics of the parking garage - that’s just my theory. Anyway, it turned into gold. No, it isn’t THE video to spotlight the BEST of his talents but def worth a watch if you want to smile.
