For more context on this video everyone in the masks are either friends of Ren or simply friends of friends and the visual context was a collaboration of idea's bounced off of each other. The video visuals reference Animal Farm (the rules of the farm are written on the wall), Stanley Kubricks Clockwork Orange and the card game painting were the dogs are playing even going so far as to get the right lampshade and those are just the tip of the iceberg for the references.

Both versions are fire but live is a different beast.

Crazy, lol, but I love it. It does make you think of the Wednesday dance, but for the record, REN’s video was actually filmed in the winter of 2022 (I think it was Feb 2022). So Ren’s Animal Flow was filmed long before Wednesday aired in the Fall of 2022.

I think I could not take in the lyrics as well on the music video. Only when I listened to the live version did I start to interpret it better.
