Oh I don’t know , in Hi Ren we’ve got ‘fuck you’ , in ‘Losing it’ you’ve got “ Baddest kid in the game, sick mother fucker Sound hardcore so raw; no rubber Milk that, milk that, milk that udder”, (which obviously refers to telling someone to make him come) and She said I’m a dick when I get out of hand You look quite fit with my dick in your hand”, “ I'm fuckin it up like I made it Sometimes stuck in a rut but I break it Cum twice busting a nut you can't fake it” ( which I think is a double meaning bar referring also being stuck in a sexual relationship with a woman. From the Hunger you’ve got the following “ But if you got a problem, my brother, I might just put on some rubber gloves And just choke you 'till larynx ruptures, And blood, it just bubbles up And the bubbles just double up, and you struggle, but luck is up ” So I think it’s fair to say that Ren has no problem using street vernacular but where he differs from many rappers, he doesn’t use it wantonly, it’s always a key part of the bars.

Guys. Ren is presenting himself as a malcontent. As a revolutionary. The system failed him. He nearly died. It's hard not to view these failures as gross negligence and lack of empathy for the sick and underprivileged. He is taking power back by showing his anger for and frustration with the system. He is representing the underlying tension and rebellious feelings of his audience, his friends, his peers. I'll refer you back to Money Game parts 1 and 2, as well as Sick Boi. This is a spiritual continuation of those songs.

So true and I get that and I know that we all fight subliminally with words and music. to change the way humans think. I really can't thank my parents enough for stressing the importance of critical thinking when I was growing up. My father used to tell me a story about how his mother would occasionally ask him "Why do you think they're telling you this?" During news segments or commercials?? They don't really need the lower class and lower middle class anymore. people who have a yearly income of 2 to 4 million and more should be okay. when Walmart starts to shut down in every city yes they will get robbed and why not. get it while you can because they will destroy everything even the food and put it as a write-off. China already had this setup in the very rich parts. also with the stealing. hey, they did not want to hire humans to work at checkouts they wanted to put in self-checkouts. and knew it would be a problem but Walmart and all its stores also small stores will not be able to compete with Amazon within 5 years they will even cook your whole meals and deliver them in 30 minutes to an hour and it will not be a human delivering that. they are also going to have robotic trucks delivering everything to all Amazon locations at all times and they do not need humans for that. So no humans will be working other than engineers to keep everything working 100 percent. so tell your kids to get into engineering but still only 10 percent of everyone will be needed. So very inhumane outlook for the lower to middle-middle class and well goodbye lower class because the left and right gov is going to take all benefits away. I even see most restaurants closing and even hospitals so if you need an ambulance then you're gone because the nearest hospital might just be 100 miles away. I know the truth. mainly because I have heard everything and researched it and found FACTS. I don't see how not many are getting it and still worshipping the left and right and doing what they want you to do. FUSS AND FIGHT OVER a beer bottle or who is male or female and hey the left and right media is the reason for all the uprisings and why everyone is going crazy over it. it was the plan and is in the paybook!!! As I have always said. if the news tells you something is going on in another country then use social networking to find out for yourself yes go to the sources, not the fake news. Now they start the stage of cutting that off where nobody around the world can tell truths that the elite and the political media. huge corporations do not want you to know... also Did everyone think that slavery ended?? No, it just went from free workers who were treated like shit with no benefits to tiny little 15 to 25 hours slave jobs. Yes, 60 percent of US citizens are slaves and do not know it but hey they still have them pointing fingers as to who did it and who can fix it. yeah, it's funny but also very sad that the brainwashing truly working.. the 1 percent controls all. they could stop feeding us if we tried to do anything and well they own the gov so the gov would not go against their interest and money. they would try to get the military to kill us first. I just wonder if the military would go against its own people?? the people of Ukraine and Russia travailed across the borders daily to see friends and family until it got so bad. So I believe they would go against us. we are slaves to the rich. nobody in any office is Ethical in any way. and no president or anyone in politics even knows how it is for the middle and lower class!! WHY ARE YOU NOT WAVING FLAGS SAYING FCK THE 1 PERCENT?? I think THE PEOPLE are starting to understand what is truly going on with all news and all politicians and we THE PEOPLE By law Can vote out and put in ETHICAL leaders and get rid of the left and right and middle. We no longer believe any of you and we are growing and getting stronger and Stronger every day. Starting to look like a Hitler/Starlin-type world.. Scary!!!! Orwells Animal Farm and Kurt Vonnegut’s Player Piano should be in schools. But no and we know why

Good reaction and analysis. Both Animal Farm and Clockwork Orange are definitely part of the inspiration for this. The first is a cautionary tale, they revolted and created the 'perfect society' where all animals were equal, but then the darker side of (animal/human) nature showed up and it turned out that '...some animals are more equal than others'. Basically recreating the same oppression they had from the farmer, but with a new leader. My memory of Clockwork Orange is a message of how the totalitarian state bring out the worst in us and create the very dangers it propose to shield us from. My current take away (subject to change) is that of a warning: we won't be able to create a good society top down. It comes back to us, the humans who live in it, to safeguard our humanity and we cannot shirk that responsibility by hoping we can outsource it to some leader. Not if we want to keep our humanity.

All animals are equal. But some of them are more equal than others. That is from George Orwells book Animal Farm. The book dives, very deep into capitalism and hypocrisy. The people that watch this video and say, “dude- this is too out there. I don’t get it“ I’m sure you don’t. Read Animal Farm. You will. Ren, as usual you keep pushing the envelope of what you can do. I love it that your artist choices spark a dialogue. There will always be differing opinions on what is good, what is not good, what is main stream, etc.… But if you are the one that made the music to make people have a dialogue that they never would’ve had otherwise? Wow! That is an accomplishment in itself.

Those are the 7 rules from the book Animal Farm by George Orwell. One of Orwell's finest works, it is a political fable based on the events of Russia's Bolshevik revolution and the betrayal of the cause by Joseph Stalin. The book concerns a group of barnyard animals who overthrow and chase off their exploitative human masters and set up an egalitarian society of their own. All animals must follow those rules are they are outcasts and even killed. It symbolises Russian rule during Stalin and was specifically written for that reason since it's an old book. I believe the animals escape and burn the farmers house down a.k.a. remove tyrants and the animals and other humans end up playing poker together at the end. The farmer was keeping the animals from humans and humans were kept away from the animals because the farmer didn't want the humans to actually see the horrors they dealt with. As for the pigs, they are the ones that start and lead the revolution. Ren plays a role where has assimilated with the animals where both humans and animals have joined forces to take down the corporations, greed, profits and cruelty. He's basically saying that Ren and his fans are going to take over and let everyone be who they want to be and not follow cookie-cutter rap beats and styles. I might be reaching far there but that's the vibe I'm getting.

It's Animal Farm a book by George Orwell. Famous for the quote 'All animals were created equal, but some are created more equal than others'. The moral of the story is that Napoleon (the pig... a returning character in Ren's music videos) and based on Joseph Starlin re-writes the rules or 'commandments' en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_Farm every Ren video features the different animals. The 'original' commandments are: Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend. No animal shall wear clothes. No animal shall sleep in a bed. No animal shall drink alcohol. No animal shall kill any other animal. All animals are equal. Later Napoleon revised them to: No animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets. No animal shall drink alcohol to excess. No animal shall kill any other animal without cause. It's a twist on the seven commandments. He's is telling you KZread is a political propaganda machine and you are part of it.

Yeah but, how would we hear about Ren if not for youtube, apple music, spotify etc. Thats the issue, to connect as a collective we need a way to connect as a collective. Like everything we have to take a little bad with the good, the yin and the yang, the light and the dark, they need us too remember, without us they are nothing. Just using the internet, your in the system. It's a dilemma isn't it.

Appended to these commandments is the mantra or slogan 'four legs good, two legs bad', because animals (who walk on four legs) are their friends while their two-legged human overlords are evil. 'Four legs good, two legs bad', then, is a political slogan in Animal Farm."

Watched the Premiere of Animal Flow and have watched the video a few times both with sound and without to try and pick all the amazing detail in it and then listened to the sound without the video - so much amazing stuff to absorb and now going to start watching reactions- a day later! Saw a few clips of Animal Flow on Ren’s IG stories over a year ago and love finally seeing it all come to life. Wow - just seeing the video and how Ren moves around it - the one take - read about the shoot on Ren’s YT channel and saw him discuss his influences for this with Justin Hawkins. Think Ren said in his twitch feed after Illest that film influences his videos sometimes more than music - think he mentioned Eyes Wide Shut for this one but also the Clockwork Orange Vibe with his outfit. Watching Ren videos is always fun but, even more fun, is watching reactions and having discussions about your thoughts and your interpretation of what Ren has done, said in his vids. This is no exception. Ren gets you to talk and think as well as producing some amazing work. Really looking forward to seeing a Ren x BP interview. Thanks for another great reaction.

I think people are starting to understand Ren. He's just... Ren. No pretensions. Nothing except an imagination, love of music, and insane levels of talent. Those who stuck with calling him a "bard" are right - he uses styles for the sake of the story. Everything is to further the message or theme he wants to present or evoke. The closest style i can think of to describe him would be "Punk Hop" but even that isn't all that accurate. Better to call it a show than a music video. He'd be incredible on Broadway.

If Ren created a Broadway show or movie it'd be insane. So far the vids I've seen are all mini-movies, all have a beginning and end & tell a story that most people can follow, regardless of age or music tastes. To think of him & maybe Sam if he chose to, having the time to extend their creativity into a full length production .... there's no limit to what they could come up with. They don't even need a big budget, all their vids are done with minimal gear and they're better than any expensive music vid I've seen. People would leave the theaters stunned not knowing which part to focus on.

Had me nervous there until you finally mentioned the clockwork orange angles. Shouldn't have doubted 😉Ren's drawing so many parallels with sounds, visuals, and lyrics. Thank you for the honesty about the reading. One phenomenon that's so true is that you see the world very differently as you age. I encourage everyone to re-read Animal Farm, 1984, and other things 'ahead of their time' with the eyes of our recent lived shared experiences. Or read it for the first time, with purpose. Really puts things in perspective. Then maybe we'll have a chance....

As far as the animals eating humans perspective, I’d say the broader allegory here is that we are the animals. The animals shown aren’t eating humans per se, but the cows are eating beef, and the pig is butchering a pig. He is telling us that we humans are eating each other. His character is the authoritarian ruler/billionaire/politician striding confidently through the cannibalism and chaos that he set in place to keep us at each other’s throats. Keeping us in that state of mind is the method he used to attain and maintain that power over us.
