    Now Rempe 100% has to fight Macdermid on the 3rd of April if not oof not a good look for him. Refs protected Rempe bad look on the NHL.

    He will. Especially since the Devils whined to the league and the press. Laviolette is old school and I'd bet the first line out at puck drop in the next game with the Devils is Cuylle, Goodrow, Rempe, Schneider and Trouba.

    Rempe will be on watch with league and considering two hits to head, a leaving feet non call in leafs game ( I'm a flyer fan, you're blind if you dont see that), hes played 57 total minutes of ice time, not even a full game, 54 min penal min.. I personally dont think he can control himself when the puck drops and has the Biggest target known to the NHL in quite awhile. He can play the intimidating game without the illegal checks to head, jumping at guys on hits because he is the biggest guy on ice.. I see a problem with this kid!

    @@paulkarp958 lol a lot of soy boys in the comments. Like the league is infallible. They suspended Torts for yelling at a ref. Bettmen is running the NHL like a cocktail party. Go watch soccer it's more your speed.

    Be careful what you ask for…Rempe is a load and a half. MacDermid is a goon period. Rempe is still growing and has to identify his skills. So far all he has to do is stand if front of their net. Fighting is ancillary in this league now, so if Rempe is smart, and I think he will be, he will choose his spots carefully.

    That elbow was one of those last minute kinda look away oops elbows, intent, yeah, but it didn't really contact hard, but it's a little excessive, but I think it was obvious it could've been bad.

    I know its 2024 and podcasting is all the rage, but what the heck? Kyper just staring at his laptop, looking at stats and whatnot, all while Bruce is answering his questions.. just seems rude. I understand its not a formal "interview" but he's a guest on the show... I don't know, just something I noticed. 🤷

    Rempe’s awesome cuz it’s exposing all the people who just started watching hockey like 2 years ago and hate physicality.

    That is not physicality that is a dirty hit and an attempt to injure an opponent. A hard hitting game with clean hits is physicality

    Bruce just admitted the suspension system is completely arbitrary. The media needs to make up its mind. Two weeks ago Rempe was fighting too much. This week he's not fighting enough. Pick one. As for the Devils and MacDemitt, after their whining in the media and to the league, they all better be ready to throw down when they come back to MSG in April.

  • @RPierce84
    @RPierce843 ай бұрын

    little does everyone understand, Rempe already answered the bell for the previous hit that MacDermid was trying to fight him for. He one punched the guy, that ones over. You want to say he had to answer for the elbow, fine. But he owed Macdumbshit absolutely nothing in the beginning of that game.

    Rempe has a very poor mentor and coach! The goal of a successful tough guy of which Rempe is not (he is a young kid who thinks he knows the game) his hit did nothing to further the success of his team, period. Please don’t bang in some old guber washed up coach to back up your narrative it is embarrassing! (And only goes to prove why you are done as professional players and are now analyzing the game from your perspective). Of course Boudreau is going to say it is part of his (Rempe) job. This is so old washed up thinking it is pathetic! Similar when the NHL allowed Eric Lindros (via his mom) to refuse his draft team. All this incident did was to put a large target on young Rempe, of which some real tough guys will take him out, and the league and referees will look the other way. Rempe is 6’8” young and very vulnerable and embarrassed the referees and the league by s disrespectful behaviour! Clearly his legs and hips and maturity are his weaknesses. Someone is going to Burtussi his ass, and that will end his promising career. But good luck with the “it’s part of his job thing”!
