Removing the Hand brake and Gear change: Audi 2.7 Bi-Turbo. Ep26.

Well, the plan was to remove the hand brake cables and then the fuel tank, but I had to change my plans. Looks like the fuel tank will have to stay put for a little while longer.
The engine from this donor car and other parts, are for my homemade Supercar. Although I have an interest in kit cars, including Lamborghini replicas, Ferrari replicas, McLaren P1 Replicas and other self-made kit car of other marques, like Porsche, Ford GT40 and the AC Cobra, I have always wanted to build my own unique brand, which I call the Cerberus VMR6.

Nice videos. I recently discovered your channel and have been watching as I have been considering this for a while and have been building knowledge on the topic. One thing I'm finding hard is the moving of the gearbox to the rear of the new car. Maybe you can help.. I'm not finding information on how control of gears via the shifter is maintained after moving the gearbox. I have never opened one, but what to find out things like this before buying a donor. Thanks for all of these videos.

Hi James, Yes I did an episode on this, Ep13, Designing the gear change and handbrake for my DIY Supercar. Hopefully this will give you some pointers. ;)
