oh no!! If you ever see somebody use an impact gun to completely tighten the nuts, then run away and go someplace else! They owe you. Maybe you already know why, but just incase somebody else is reading this: - The nuts should be tightened in a crisscross pattern, so the wheel is mated evenly. Very important! Tighten each nut at 30%. Then go round again at around 75%, then finish at 100% torque spec. Otherwise, you can create uneven pressure on the wheel hub. After taking a trip around the local area, check the torque spec again as everything will be settled in. - The nuts have a torque spec. If they are over-torqued, then it compromises safety as it can weaken the nut and cause stress fractures, but more commonly, you'll lose a stud. Then it's new wheel hub time! - If the nuts are over-torqued, this can put pressure on the wheel bearing assembly also. It can cause vibrations and warped components. Spray some penetrating fluid on them the night before! (Not WD-40, unless it specially says 'penetrating' on it), then the tool will have it's best shot! :)

I got the same set and tried it out on my Honda civic. The Civic has a rotating collar and I removed this collar before trying the tool. The problem is that the nut is made of softer material than the tool and when you apply big pressure it twists off because the nut is so soft.😞

Thanks for sharing! That's worrying that the nut is so soft! Did you soak it in penetrating lube the night before? (not wd40; something like more pb blaster)

Success!! After watching other KZread videos with people using the same tool I discovered that the tool was twisting off the nut. It was doing this because it was not staying straight on the nut. A brilliant tip I discovered for when this happens is to support the tool by placing your Jack underneath. This keeps it straight on the nut and when force is applied it prevents the tool from coming off its axis. I tried this and it worked a treat.

ughhhh I hate seeing nit picky comments that ignore 99% of useful .advice and focus on the 1% urghhhh
