Have you considered doing this with the Scopema Altair 2P bench seat that also turns into a bed? That would be a super combination with the unwin seat lockers - additional 2 person seating and sleeping when needed!

We have installed Scopema seats. You can order them with l-track compatible legs. Their seats in general are very difficult to get and require using their proprietary flooring which gives you very limited seat placement options.

Do these seats meet FMVSS FMVSS 207/210 & NHTSA Requirements?

We use FMS for the seats and Unwin Seat Lockers to attach them to the L-Track.

What's the weight of the 2 person bench complete? Also, what length of track do you suggest as a minimum?

Seat weight is 80 lbs, minimum track length is around 24" but we would recommend longer to give more flexibility in mounting locations.

How does a person get something like this installed ? And also, can you remove from the track and store the seats outside the Van?

Do the seats / install come with any certification? Are the l tracks mounted into the frame of the van? Does the van get a new 4 seater designation sticker so it can be registered / insured without problem? Sorry for all the questions, have been reading a lot on this and getting conflicting information trying to find an up fitter who can do this legally

All of the components we use are DOT approved. The L-track is bolted through the frame with fender washer and backing plates where needed. The van does not get any new designation but we have not had any issues with registration or insurance.

Does your bench seat lay flat to make a kids bed?

No this one does not. Our new Classic 3.0 has an optional lower bed platform to be able to sleep two kids.

@@TitanVans i need a two person seat with seat belts but that can be folded out and used in conjuction with front swivel seat to create a bed....im looking on the website for the custom build sheet to submit but do not see it? am i suppose to just call on phone to inquire ? transit 148 high roof

If your looking for just a seat install that would be done through our Service department. Email service@titanvans.com. Sounds like you are looking for a Travois seat. We can definitely get one in for you.

@@TitanVans my build is extremely simple...MOTO van for racing dirt bikes.... All i need is 1) insulation and walls, 2) the seat install AND 3) your awesome sliding bed installed....I DO need the bed to be higher over the garage so dirt bikes can fit beneath it....I also want to sleep front to back so the bed can come all the way up to the back of the seat....I do not need any gally, electrical, windows, water, batteries, etc none of that. Just the bed, seat, insulation/walls is all. This is a very basic build for overnight races is all....Can you do this? I love your bed design so i can collapse it and get it out of the way when loading bikes from the rear....(ie can stand up to load bikes then once bikes are loaded can fix bed back to sleep) transit 148 high roof...

@@thepatternforms859 Appreciate you considering us but even a simple such as yours still requires a similar amount of planning and design as a custom build, which we have stopped doing at this point. We have our Classic base model which is our simplest most streamlined build that we could offer you. Through our service department we can install the flooring and seat but we do not do paneling or cabinetry through our service department.
