Very helpful. The added in comments also helped out with details that a visual-only illustration wouldn't have articulated. My only complaint was the somewhat odd choice of background music. Left me with nightmares for two weeks. But after just my first few days of psychotherapy treatment, I'm already feeling better, and more comfortable. Almost comfortable enough to attend my therapy sessions without my high cap, pistol grip, tactical 12 gauge in my stiffly clenched hands. Baby steps. Baby steps. Baby steps.

Sounds like everyone has a hang up on the carrier. I did too. I tried it without the carrier first to see what was holding me up. Hope this helps.

I jammed my gun trying to put it back together helpppp!!!! Not sure what to do but it’s stuck and I can’t get it the pump off or the pieces before it that go into the part that goes in before you put the trigger back on.

My rifle says Remington 870 on it. Some Remingtons say 870 express. There are express, express magnum, policy and wingmaster on the Remington website. But there is no Remington 870 on it. What is my rifle? Is it a separate model? I could not understand. I am writing from Turkey. I would appreciate it if you could inform me. Thank you in advance.

What type of barrel these guns take never had a Remington I'm tryna get rid of this duck barrel to something like a 18.5

Down to the receiver and for-end. I pull up the disconnect lever and pull the for-end away from the receiver. It will not come apart! Any suggestions ? All ok, I found it.

I've had mine nine years and it's always been a royal pain getting the bolt/carrier back in. Cleaned and lubed my gun today and I got it back in just like in the video. I couldn't believe it! Let's see next time.

That's the trick part. The way I figured it out is trying without the carrier first. Then you can see what's holding you up. Hope it helps you. Pistols are much easier, haha.

Hold the magazine tube down and it should slide right out.

Follower gets gummed up and sticks in tube, use cleaning rod to push down one side of cocked orange plastic to remove, clean thoroughly. Push action rods from inside towards the receiver walls, they are spring loaded to remove and to install , video is good but needs to stress the part about action rods being spring loaded

I honestly don't think that there is an easier shotgun to take apart than the Remington 870 as far as repeating pump action shotguns go.

That little detail where you have to depress the rail and pinch the two springs on the inside is so f****ing annoying.

Try rotating it. There are slots on the orange follower and they should be placed in front of the dimples.

There's a reason why this is a $300 shotgun. Never had so much trouble reassembling a gun in my life. Do yourself a favor and don't take the bolt out. Just remove the barrel and clean that. The rest can be done with Rem action cleaner and a good dose of Rem oil. My fingers are bleeding.
