Remembering my grandfather

My "Papa" was an amazing man who served his family with a happy heart and raised a strong son who I proudly call my Dad. Papa recently passed away and I created a picture frame and pocket knife out of some old wood I found in his shop as a gift for my father.
I was blessed to have a grandfather like him and am looking forward to the day we get to meet again.

John 14 is one of my favorite verses in the Bible and one that I always share at funerals. Nothing in life is as important as family and your relationship with Jesus Christ. Thank you for sharing the real reason that believers do not fear death. 2 Cor 15.

Well said Jack. That was the verse I read at his funeral so It now holds a very special place in my heart!
