It's 2 O'Clock. 2.AM. Just after midnight. And sir, I watched and listened to your special tribute to Jaikishinji of phenomenal Shankar Jaikishan. I feel overwhelmed and saddened at the same time that such a Genius music director left us too early. The memory of that day is still so vivid and your tribute made me cry. ( Sorry I can't write further as the grief is building up in my heart.)

SJ ke har ek gaane ke " structural analysis" ki study naye aspirant music directors ke liye badi interesting hogi. Jaise- SJ jyadatar koi bhi gaana Directly singers se nahi karte. Pehle prelude music piece aata hai jo gaane ka bhaav set karta hai ( jaise- dost dost na raha, dil ke zarokhe se, badan pe sitare, jaan pehchan ho etc) 2- Gaana slow pace ka ho to bhi starting music bahut baar ekdum fast pace pe leke phir surprise element ki tarah turn maar ke slow rethym pe aana ( eg- tera mera pyar amar, kisi ki muskurahato pe ho nisar, tadap ye din raat ki, dil ki girah etc) 3- gayak ke bol jahan end hote hain wahan continuation main ek signature music tukda dalna - ( eg- aawara hoon etc) Baki bahot kuch aur bhi study kar sakte hain. Ye P.hd ka subject ho sakta hai.4- aalap ka zabardast use- bedardi balma, o mere sanam etc. 5- actors ki peculiar traits to gaane ke composition main dalna - jaise junglee, prince, ( shammi ) Teri pyaari2 surat ko, ye mera prempatra ( rajendra kumar) hum kaale hain to ( mehmood )

Pradeep ji, Very nice suggestion from any SJ fan after very long. Hats off to you for your interest on different aspect of their music. The most unfortunate is that a big chunk of SJ fans are either lethargic or much aged and not compatible with using mobile or computer, but have great knowledge. Finding them is very difficult. Second Few members on our SJ group on facebook have added such posts. I will have to find out them. But the problem with me is that I myself don't like my voice in commentary to make such video. I am now 69+ . Third is that My facebook account dedicated to Shankar Jaikishan has 27.9k members and look at number of subscribers on this channel. Though neither I beg for such support nor asked anyone. Hardly few from the group are here and many of subscribers are from my other channel which is only for songs. In that case I may request you and other learned subscribers who can contribute towards this suggestion. Also I am sharing your suggestion in the group Regards

How many ( post 1970/1971 ) Ganga behti hai, awaras,sangams,420s,barsaats,kanhayias,jab Pyaar kissing se hota hais,love marriages,professors,junglees and many more can you remember ? Apart from sanyasi and beiman how many can you compare post 1971s films can you remember ? Please name one or two which can match the magic of names I mentioned above. Name a few songs which are still famous from post 1971.

How many such films are given to Shanker ji post 1971, and he failed ? Please name only one, even Sanyasi is not close to the names you mentioned above. However I can name few for your kind information and please find if both of SJ are not there. 1. Door Naheen Manzil 2. Dil Daulat Duniya 3. Chorni 4. Garam Khoon 5. Dhoop Chhaon 6. Eent Ka Jawab Patthar 7. Do Jhoot 8. Aatmaram 9. Duniyadari 10. Kaanch Ki Deewar 11. Naina I would like to read your views. I am not worried nor hurt, because every fan wants standard output, but you have to take notice of the anti Shanker atmosphere, where on the 11th hour of recording of a SJ song, few important musicians were summoned by other MDs. The musicians were compelled to leave SJ recording because there were less films in his hands.
