"Tell me why she is wearing white" & "no, she will wear the tiara that I choose" But, looking back, the second remark wasn't that funny as it was just a forewarning of what was to come. It was a first 'jumping' off the kiddy pool...the Parliament needs to take these two on. The UK will be so wrong without a Royal household. Sure, it is a tourist attraction; but they can manage whole dinners, teas or any need for the UK to entertain dignitaries while the prime minister and the HofC can carry on with their work while the Royal Family handles so much of recognized faces in the room. The Senior Royals do a lot for charities and just a great value as long as the people get a photo or two on their networks whenever there happens to be a birth, birthday, a speech by the Monarch, etc. The Dutchess is a wonderful photographer and we see snapshots that are taken during the happy times; but it also shows strength, as Her Magistry has shown through the last year. The RR (Real Royals) stood strong. Prince Philip had shown his strength until the Lord called him home. The PofW and the Dutchess of Cornwall have shown true strength and love for the UK and the Princess and prince have shown respect for Princess Diana. The PofW was respectful even just recently. The couple gave the grown sons of PD enough privacy at the unveiling ceremony of the statue of PD's revealing. The Cambridges have been a wonderful pair to take on being King & Queen Consort. When the PofWs becomes King. He will streamline the Monarchy and when extra help is needed that is when a minor Royal will be able to decide if s/he can do it on a paid basis. The PofWs was, and still is, ahead of the pack when it came to saving the earth and now he realizes that the Royals need to be streamlined with only the loyal Senior Royals working fulltime. In this way, longterm, the individual younger Royals can either work on extra projects or just not be in line to eventually take the place of a retiring Senior Royal...so I at least can understand where the PofW is going with this. The children need to work for their grades in school. They will have need of how or what kind of job skills they will need to have b/c nobody's going to get jobs just because they are related to the HRH...oh, the way the senior Royals smile under their hand I think HRH has a great amount of jokes and a knowing glance between a person or as a group they have many jokes between them...when her Majesty has a picture taken with a real smile that shows in her eyes...I think, now that is beautiful.

For military bearing, at least in the US, you can respond to questions while in the position of attention. Is it different for the guys in the video? If it’s not, I think he was more taken aback that the queen talked to him - it’s like when you’re doing a routine and something completely random happens and throws you off

What also impressed me is that not only did he give a witty answer, but he also knew when to shut up. Bravo, young man! :)

The Queen was exceptionally good at chatting to ordinary people. She liked going shopping from time to time when she was at Sandringham or Balmoral, and would make comments to passing strangers like "Those pears look delicious. I think I'll buy some!" and leave the person standing with their mouth open.

I miss ❤😢her so much. I just watched her in the media but she was loved and her presence was known all over. May she RIP. ❤❤❤

I think you're misquoting the second one a little. She often browses the shops near Balmoral (her official residence in Scotland) unattended and apparently when in one shop a lady informed her that 'she looks just like the Queen', to which Queenie replied 'how very reassuring!'. ☺️👑

She speaks quite frequently. She addresses the nation every year at Christmas. She also made a special broadcast at the start of the Pandemic to reassure the people that we'll get through it. It definitely made me feel a lot better about Covid when she did that 👍🏻

I liked her cheeky photobomb with the girls soccor team. I think she was a very interesting person who had a heavy responsibility laid on her at a young age and did her best to stand up to it. I'm happy she did love Phillip and her children and her dogs.
