Back in 2008 I remember trying to click on random suggested videos, repeating about 10 times, and seeing where I would wind up It took me to the viral Chocolate Rain video, and the long list of suggested videos on the right side of the screen were all the same thumbnail of identical chocolate rain videos

Old youtube was honestly just kinda authentic and had a more diy attitude. So when videos like Freddy's came out it was hella unique. Now youtube just feels like a business. RIP.

Harley just has this comedic timing and delivery that is just unprecedentedly awesome. Everything he says I find funny.

I love how Freddie has a “in universe” persona of just being a lazy director and terrible producer that everyone just puts up with.

It took me forever to realize that a lot of characters that were acting in the VGU series were actually KZread "stars" before hand. Didn't know this guy had his own show that's awesome! Same with Brian Firenzi who has his own YT channel. I guess they're not as big but it's cool to see where these people end up after. I miss VGU but it'll probably never come back. I feel like when that series was around I was on YT a lot more than I am now.

Hey rocketjump ,i found out of your channel a month ago and one of the first things i saw was VGHS in the first video. i already was in love with it. The series had a lot of emotions: sad , funny and yes sometimes cringing too but it makes it fun and interesting. After watching a video you get more curious and again thats what made it a AWSOME series. And the actors too , they where so good at there rolls. Yes I’m gonna say more , the story it was AWSOME the experience of watching is is exciting . SO MUCH people are asking to make more VGHS and i am too. And of course i could say so much more but i would be writing a week or 2. And i know it will cost much but please please make more more VGHS not for me but for all of us. I remember really really enjoying Freddie Wong; he always was some kind of genius to me. The first KZreadr I saw who used CGI on that level (now I enjoy Andrewmfilms, or Nukazooka). Also, Harley seems like a wise person, someone I would like to have a chat with and hear about his ife story (I really enjoyed listening to his h3h3 podcast) Also, while I myself am not that of an old youtube user, (I probably started to use it frequently in 2012), the "decline"; or change, was a hard thing for me, too. However also good content came along, especially amongst the veteran community, that wasn't here before.
