It's always nice to see Harley in skits like this, he's a great actor when he isn't stuck on EMT.

It's really inspiring how far you guys have come with this channel, and I really appreciate everything that comes with your growth. I don't get why some people are commenting that they liked your older videos better, because while the style of the shorts may have changed, this is probably the only way for you to do regular videos AND bigger projects like VGHS at the same time. I love your videos. Almost all of them ;)

Nothing "qualifies" someone to completely judge an entire group of people, generalizing/stereotyping all of them completely and acting like it's accurate... Not maturity, not intelligence... nothing entitles you to be able to make that call and have it not be arrogance informed at least partially by ignorance. You don't know everything about them. for a channel that was built on VFX based shorts this is pretty disappointing. The only VFX shot was the green screen, and it didnt even look good. The sound was poor and it looks like there was no color correction at all. Compare this to some of the older shorts and you will see why people are disappointed. Also check out Corridor Digital and see what kind of stuff they produce with a smaller team and smaller budget.

Buddy Booth well thats why Brandon left. he liked the VFX stuff, but Freddy wanted to go to a more "professional" side of video making and make it a company. I still prefer the old style RJ vids, but i respect his decision to make the change. Anyway about CD, have u seen their anime baseball vid?

Smaller budget? Lulls. Corridor is working with a LOT more money per short, and that's just based off of what we know for sure as outsiders (no speculation). They could be making more off of deals/endorsements/merch/etc. that we don't know about. Corridor has done a brand integration on many of their recent videos (Battleborn, Nerf, Waldo, The Division, Cat Dog Kung Fu, Wizard Cops, Judge Drone, Real Rocket League, Smallest Empire, etc.), so that right there is $20-50K PER integration depending on their terms. Because of their higher view count they're also looking at $40-50K per month in KZread ad revenue alone (depends on exactly what their CPM is). They also have ~$5,500 in pledged Patreon patrons per video (per month, but they're usually around 1vid/month). RocketJump, on the other hand, is clearly spending jack on these shorts. I doubt their revenue on these shorts even covers the pay for the people making them. They're probably doing it at a loss so the channel stays somewhat active and all the whiners don't complain even more than they already are. And their shorts team is the same size as Corridor, except that Corridor has their main dudes on the job, where as the RJ shorts team is five up-and-comers. It is what it is, and you're allowed to not like it, but don't pretend it doesn't make sense.

This was my favourite one in months, RJ picking up heaps. I think people are complaining because it didn't have bullets or explosions, but the angles, sounds, characters and the story with the ending scene was great.

Hah fair enough. But if you ask me, it looks like it was shot on a calculator, the sound is recorded terribly and the acting was pretty laughable (not in a good way), not to mention that *terrible* green screening. I'd really expect more from a production company of their stature

You guys are actively trying to ruin your fan base with these poorly written and shot shorts. Its a bit sad really. I juts hope Fredy is making something dope

I know you guys are trying to evolve your content but I feel like you've forgotten your audience here. The cartoony music and sound effects were particularly jarring. The story was fine but not what I and many others like Rocketjump/freddiew for. I really loved where John Karmen's stuff was heading, when is he gonna come back? His shorts were different but in a genuinely warped/hilarious way, nothing forced and alienating like this. I honestly felt a bit patronised watching this, like it was meant for 8-year-olds about to watch Looney Tunes Back in Action.
