Sometimes one gains more...in the the clothes of simpicity. This actually allows others to show their truer selves...only then ...a deeper understanding and insight is had...into what is expected of you. John Ferraz, Retired Architect.

Rem going to preservationist, as architect going full circle. Cities and culture are richer for having physical dialogue between the historic and contemporary

I thought this was a great interview. However, I am interested in what Rem has to say about affordable housing. If anyone has a link to Rem talking about affordable housing, do post it.

Who wants more public sector Architecture? The government decides how architecture should be? Why is the public sector limiting? It seems to be the freest expression of architecture in my opinion. Patrick Schumaker understands this. Still love Rem’s designs though And he’s thinking on many things.

Gigantic restaurant from the 60 's in Moscow becomes... Tara!? A museum! Yes folks, yet another one! "we preserved the murals, part of the decay and the walls" O yeah? And why does it end up looking like a school lobby? A bit Dead?

...the interviewer constantly laying the words into Rems mouth...sure he really liked that...that is not a civilized way to talk to each other...tell your story...give us some insight and don`t chase coherence...
