It's nice seeing Karen here. She made Aigis and Nanako so iconic and she really brought out the best of them. I always remember how their scenes always stood out and got me emotional when Nanako got kidnapped or Aigis' conflict on trying to become more human. Karen was a really great VA and I'm excited to see how Dawn will portray Aigis. Also, I'm loving the new Fuuka as well!

The ones in the clip i don’t know if they’re the ones from the OG. The old Fuuka VA didn’t show up and the Ken one i think was from Q or Dancing. Those VAs sounded different from the OG, and in the OG Ken’s VA was never credited. It’s cool to see Karen back

Also the role is total opposed. Fuuka is very reserved, shy, who rarely speaks up and she has a calm voice. Yuffie is cocky, showing high self-esteem, very talkative and acting flamboyant. Suzie Yeung has a Impressive voice range

I love how they’re bringing in the OG’s and how it feels so cool to see them again, this cast is amazing man I’m so excited for this game

I’ve always loved Karen Strassman’s work as Aigis and Nanako, she really sold the idea of Aigis slowly becoming more human. So I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what Dawn’s take on Aigis is like. From what I’ve heard so far, she reminds me more of the vocal style Aigis’ Japanese VA used.

I like what Atlus is doing. They're assuring fans that although they've changed the voices of the characters, they respect the legacy of the original voice actors.

Oh? I thought the second episode will be about akihiko, mitsuru, and fuuka VAs (in order of their trailer reveal). But looking at this, they probably want to keep akihiko and mitsuru VA for the last, so they can be revealed along with shinji's VA (the trio senior of SEES). Looking forward to it (i hope we get to see liam o'brien next)! 🥰

Seeing the old cast talk and interact with the new cast is quite wholesome, and makes for a good passing of the torch. Man, I really hope though that 3R can have Ruff and O'Brien make cameo roles. Ruff especially could easily play Toriumi lmao.

The classic English VAs will still all have a special place in my heart!

It's hard to outdo the old, but I feel these guys will kill it. Fuuka's new voice is good, though interestingly it reminds me of both her original crossed with Haru. Though I do like all of them, even though Akihiko's is still odd in comparison to what we're familiar with.

Aigis also reminds me of Lavenza. I’m not sure I like the new VAs since they’re so similar to P5 sounding voices, but I know it’s cuz they’re trying to be more akin to the Japanese voices now and I’m not surprised their VA work can sound so samey. So it isn’t really their fault. Let’s hope they go for some middle ground between the old English VAs and the Japanese replication.

Eh the protagonist already had his Behind the Scenes piece a month ago with Minato+Yukari+Junpei and Michelle was the only original VA to be on that video, so we won't see him now, it was just Aleks. Yuri is a very busy guy nowadays since he's now one of the biggest voice actors in the upper echelons especially now with his claim to fame as Spider-Man in Insomniac's Spider-Man series and being in everything now doing lots of games and western cartoons, not to mention he's also a father nowadays. It's understandable why he probably didn't have time to come onto one of these videos.

If I had to describe this game's development, it seems as though one word could suffice: love. I really get the feeling that everyone involved with this project knew how special it was and understood the task.

No clue how you can feel that way when so much of 3's essence is being scrubbed to appeal to 5 fans. The developers don't love 3, they love 5 and think 3 can be improved by being more like 5. The casting directors don't love 3 because if they did we would've seen ANY of the main English VA's reprising their roles, just like how all the JP VA's came back. It couldn't be because a lot of the old cast are union and they wanted cheaper talent could it...🤔 And don't even get me started on the remixed music. It feels like the audio engineer was sleeping at the wheel. The new music sounds great but clashes with the original tone. Its safe to say that everyone involved DIDNT love Persona 3, they loved the IDEA of Persona 3. They loved the idea of being a person who could create such a beloved game. They loved the idea of "improving" it by scrubbing its original direction and making it as close to 5 as possible, after all, 5 is the bestselling game in the series, and we gotta get more sales even at the price of the original direction. And lastly, if anyone involved in the creation of Reload loved P3, Kotone would be here. You can't have P3 and push her to the sideline AGAIN.

I think it’ll just take some getting used to for a lot of people, but ultimately I respect your opinion and understand where you’re coming from. Other than Fuuka, he’s the most different sounding, and I get it if you’d have preferred they kept a similar direction to the original for Akihiko like they did with Junpei and Yukari.

Shinjiro's trailer is next for sure. Allegra and Alejandro will probably get their clip alongside Justice Slocum (new Shinjiro) to have the upperclassman trio (and the SEES founders) altogether since Mitsuru, Akihiko, and Shinjiro are basically a group in and of themselves on that notion, most likely next week. Maybe at least one of Tara, Liam, or Grant will be there talking about Persona as well.

It is probably Paula Tiso based on voice matching and she's worked with PCB a lot at the time, but she has never stepped forward to confirm or deny it. So admittedly, yes, her original VA was never confirmed and we can only make an educated guess that it's Paula unless she steps forward to say something herself.

Also remember that the Persona 3 characters are supposed to be in high school so makes sense to hire younger VAs not only because their voice acting will sound younger (except for Alejandro Saab as Akihiko but I guess that was the direction they gave him because if you hear him as Cy Yu and Cyno he can do voices that aren't that deep as well so my guess is that they told him to do a deep voice for Akihiko), also remember that if they want to continue Persona 3 games after Reload it makes sense to have a younger cast that it will be available right in time for the role

Also recording side characters it's easier and faster than recording main characters which is why the old cast is probably still in the game but as side characters now

If you’re worried about them changing the plot into something subversive to “surprise” the old fans, I doubt it’ll happen. Apparently in interviews they’ve said that will be sticking the the OG plot. Anything they add will just “deepen” the story and wont change it. They might add some movie moments and rearrange some things to make it work a bit so we get a best of both worlds situation without compromising the integrity of the OG (no massive December depression arc but Ken awakening & friendship with Shinji bit).
