There should be a feature in any game where you need to level up your reload skill by reloading more and more. A lower level has slower reload times and a higher chance of a failed reload and a higher level has faster reload times, a very low chance of a failed reload and maybe on max level, a unique reload animation. Each weapon would need to be leveled up in this skill to get faster reload speeds

It’s super easy to mess up, that’s why training with weapons is as important as actually having them. And even then in high stress you’ll still goof a bit lol

Just imagine, you’re in a match in an FPS game, tension is getting high, you see a person, so you reload to get a full magazine, and you get one of these as an animation while you’re watching your buddy get killed and spots you. All while still trying to reload.

There’s a Brutal DOOM wad called “Too Many Shotguns” and it has a bunch of whacky animations for the guns. Along with another wad that has a rusted shotgun that is super hard to pump. Lol

I once tried to do a stylish tactical reload in an airsoft game (duct taped 2 mags together and tried to flip them midair). Let's just say that earned me an embarrassing moment because I dropped the mag and got lit up when the opposing side knew I was reloading.
