The way I’m doing “color aware” is that I use photoshop to create separate layers with each of the colors. Then output each layer as a range of levels. In this example, I would creat a layer for the black, white, orange, green, brown (as many as I’m willing to do). Then this is output as a grayscale image. Then this is loaded into Hueforge and the sliders match the output levels. I understand the RGB, but that’s not how I see the images or how it matches the filament that I have so this makes more sense to me. It is very tedious so if this could be automated, that would be awesome.

The RGB bins do a good job of catching a lot of those colors and allowing good blending. The problem with too much color splitting is you almost have to give up on blending the colors much. However the plan is to allow the user to pick the colors they want to use eventually.

I like the software, but it's so hard to get the settings right, and so many people use other software to manipulate the colors of the image before they use the hueforge if you are going to make a video please make it with how your really getting these great images out hueforge. Thank you.

I normally only do very basic adjustments if any. But the most recent video on Color Aware walks through one of the easier ways to adjust images.

You got the first email but not the second? Actually sometimes the Digital Downloads Pro email comes first. Or your original Order Confirmation email can be used to click on View Order and then HueForge Downloads. If you didn't get ANY emails, odds are you had a typo in your email address. If I haven't already addressed it by email or store chat, ping me again there and I'll get it sorted out.
