Fix the Flop of your HueForge Prints
Let's look at how you can thicken up the base layer of you existing and future HueForge project STLs right in your slicer.

I started using Hueforge a few days ago and though my prints were not floppy because of a thick white border, the black parts were also very thin and translucent. My solution was to adjust the min depth slider from 0.32 to something whatever I wanted my solid base to be. If you increase the maximum depth by the same amount and adjust all color sliders to the same position relative to the top layer as before you should get the same result, but with less hassle.
So many slicers & sliders :) Seriously though, super interesting and incredible work. 🍓🥧 😀
Thank you for the tutorial very very helpful 🤩🤩🤩🤩
4:50 Why do we have to add half of the distance, and not the full 1mm (1,16 in this case)?
Thanks for the shout-out on my picture frame. I'm glad you like it. Question: Why do you slice after each time you add a filament swap as opposed to adding all of the swaps at once and then slicing again once?

Because in Bambu slicer you are forced to. If you notice the slider disappears until you slice again.

@@AJAX_3D Gotcha, I've only used Orca, and didn't know that was one of the differences.

@@jacobdaugherty4052 this is now not the case. only 2 slices needed total even if 16 colors

@@BradGreeff I have finally had the time to start messing with Hueforge again and noticed the change in the slicer (So much easier). I need to get active again in the discord, so many people doing cool stuff
Hmm. I haven't had that problem with any of my prints.
How about a tutorial on how to successfully add text to the back of a hueforge print and not mess up the layers.
