Might be a mention that the cover to be taken off is the side where you can see the square of plastic.. white in this example, blue or other colors in other belt systems. Reason to mention this is that the other side cover is over a coiled spring. If this spring cover is taken off the spring can really release with force. Best to avoid this - and always wear face / eye protection just in case. Ta for video.

Mine was a chunk of pencil, (Sienna/previa collapsable seats with integrated seat belts. ) tried everything and finally realized the spool was not allowing the seat belt back in enough to "unlock"..... after being able to get a hand in( remove seat back panel) and manually wind the belt to release...... I found half of a pencil.... fixed ")

You better use two hands.
