I get why people are saying it’s not asmr and I think if you would’ve spoken just a bit more softly and either taken the music out or softened it, this would be asmr gold. It’s just not what most asmr people are used to I guess but it is no doubt visual asmr. I usually watch these videos because they relax me and give me a bit of asmr. Actually, I discovered asmr because of these facial videos. Someone mentioned it in the comments and I checked it out and I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s been about a year since then. Greatest find of my life.

I like to watch these videos to help me go to sleep. Not because they’re boring but because I think it’s super relaxing to watch someone get their face massaged. Haha I’m an esthetician and I would always start to fall asleep while watching my teacher work on a model in school 😂

I enjoy the visual & her voice is soothing & musical to me so just low volume (or muted if hubby is already asleep) work for me. ASMR is meant to relax you. If the video does that then it's ASMR for some people. It differs with each persons preference.

Yeah same :) I personally find up close sounds, especially whispering and "ear cleaning" very off-putting and disturbing, and it makes me very uncomfortable. However, I love seeing the visual stuff, becuase it usually looks so pretty/relaxing and I can imagine it :)

The video nearly put me in a coma. Relaxing to watch and listen to. I'll have to try a facial sometime.

Your videos always motivate me to spend more time cleansing my skin.

Idk why people keep saying to remove the music and that it's too loud and not ASMR. She isn't yelling at us, and the music isn't death metal. I really enjoyed her level of speaking because I find whispers can be more harsh than softly speaking. Also when you get a facial or a massage they usually have music in the background, and it's usually this genre of instrumental music. ASMR isn't one particular thing so don't say what is or isn't considered ASMR. if her intention with this video is to relax you, then it's an ASMR video.

Thank you for sharing this video. I’m not a fan of ASMR. sometimes the sounds and whispering are more irritating than relaxing. This was more of a tutorial which, as a student in cosmetology, I appreciate. Never have seen a male facial artist before. Way to go Ryan! How blessed that he has an added knowledge of nerves, etc. Great video with helpful tips about products and their uses/benefits. 🙌🏻💆🏻‍♀️🧖🏻‍♀️

It depends. Before a big occasion like when I was getting married I did one every 4 week’s for 6 months to get my skin in amazing condition. Typically I say 4-6 week’s if you can

I don't care if she wears gloves or the music, as long as i get in relaxing mood it's perfect for me ! I don't like whispering bcs not everyone got the Voice for it and what i don't like in non music asmr Videos is to hear people walk in Flip Flops in the back or make loud noises. When you have these done, and might have addressed it-but I can’t remember, is there music you can listen to like on your phone or the relaxing music we hear? Also, if I’m overstepping-my apologies. Does Chris ever have a facial done? On our cruise in October mom & I are going to have a spa together. We was going to do full body, mom may still. Due to my Fibromyalgia I have certain parts of my body that even the lightest touch can feel like torture. So I’m thinking face only for myself.

Usually there is relaxing spa music while treatments are done, but because I’m filming and asking questions to have the info when I edit I ask them to turn the music off. Chris is dying to get a facial himself. He typically gets massages.

Kate Crowley if the aesthetician has a cut on their hand or something of that sort it is best to protect the client from coming in contact with it. Also some aestheticians feel more comfortable wearing them throughout a treatment to protect themselves. If a client, for whatever reason, gets a knick on their face and begins bleeding the aesthetician is more likely to become infected if the client has an STD when not wearing gloves. It's all about personal protection and preference of the aesthetician. I personally prefer to not use gloves except when doing extractions of course.

Jennifer it would be almost impossible to get an STD that way, more likely to pick up other bacteria like staph or MRSA, certain fungal infections, etc.

Asmr does not have background music, Nor loud voices. VERYYY misleading. Not even asmr, we can’t even hear the facial sounds. No offence but very bad job on this.

Um this was really loud with voice overs and music. Most ppl that make asmr videos whisper and dont do music at all. Just a fyi. I enjoyed watching but turned the sound off. If you make more of these videos could you just leave the audio as is? Not sure how others are but i like hearing the sounds of oils and creams applyed, and the other things the esthetician dose. I also like hearing the persons breathing and mouth sounds along with there heart beat. It just seems more relaxing when all you hear is the treatment and outsode background sounds
