My eyes are literally watering. I do not know how to express it at the moment. I'm not getting enough sleep because of depression and anxiety, listening to it is such a great relief. Sad how we're missing on such simple and beautiful things available in nature.

Yes, me too. I sleep but more in the late morning hours than night. Lying in bed watching this now though. Hope you feel better. I've been severely depressed off and on for a long while. Even after a dozen or so years of a Zen practice. But peace for you. Let's just listen to the winds and fire for now, and gently breathe ...

Mieszkam w Polsce. A wspomnienia mam podobne. Chłodny pokój, ciepło pod kołdrą ( choć wtedy mieliśmy pierzynki - to dopiero było ciepło...). I jakieś takie błogie bezpieczeństwo choć w Polsce wtedy było biednie i ponuro. Ale mieliśmy paradoksalnie świetną muzykę,marzenia były wieksze a zimy cudownie śnieżne. Też kocham zimę i już się na nią cieszę ... Życzę Ci wszystkiego dobrego gdy słuchasz tego co i ja obecnie. Pomyśl wtedy o dalekim kraju w Europie... Ola Sojka.

I immediately calm down. My muscles start to relax. I close my eyes, seeing myself in front of the fireplace, feeling the warms within the blanket covering me. It's like therapy. I love it! ❤️

They also sell heavy blankets for grown-up size now not just to comfort infants. They are a godsend and you can wash them in the front loaders not sure of other washers.

I lived on a mountain as ranch hand, 172 acres from lake too mountain top, over looking Invermere valley. Oddly enough the thick forest never entered my mind as a threat. Being alone was like a kings bed. Due to the Chinook stream the major storms dont get much chances to linger, in 5years I saw mabey 10 of them, 6 of them were just wicked thunder & lightning. Those were the days......

This is one of the best “snow storm” scenarios I have found-and I use it when it’s really HOT out! Just a beautiful scene, and as a reminder of how cold my childhood was, it works to keep me “chilled out”😜. I don’t live with long winters anymore, I don’t miss the bundling up, the snow in my boots, the cold and shovelling and miserable driving! It’s enough to remember just a bit of it with this...Thank you!

Oooo I could never leave my beautiful, long, magical winters! They are my favourite season! I am so lucky to live on the Canadian prairies, where we have this peaceful and festive winter wonderlands. As for the problems you mentioned about winter, well, for 'miserable driving', I don't have that issue, I don't drive. Never have. Never wanted to. I take the bus in winter, the bus driver worries about the winter driving! For 'shoveling', I don't do that, either, because I live in an apartment building. I've lived in rented houses, too, but shovelling was never my job, always the job of the lady upstairs or something. It is hard work, true, but it's so easy to avoid - live in an apartment, or condo, or pay some kid to do it. For 'snow in my boots'. Hmm. Don't recall that ever happening to me in like fifty years of living. Just get tall boots, no problems. 'Bundeling up'. Well, I do do that, but I don't see it as an issue. I have pull-on boots with no laces, so easy to put on, and a long full-length down coat, so there's no fussing with snow pants or longjohns. It's super easy to throw on that coat, and super easy to toss on a toque and scarf on top of it. Man, do I hate summer, though. I just don't understand why people like it. The heat, which gives me headaches, and migraines, and makes everyone stinky and sticky and sweaty! Yuck. Plus you're even more sticky because of all the sunscree, and bug spray....and the bug spray always stinks, and just makes the headaches worse. Plus... ...tornados. Bugs all over. Bugs in the house. Spiders. Mosquito bites. More tornadoes. Heat warnings. People - especially the elderly and children - actually dying of heat stroke. Heat stroke is quite common here, I worry so much for my elederly parents, who are in their late seventies and do not have air conditioning! Plus... ...storms knocking out the power all summer long. And the noise! In winter, the streets are peaceful and quiet in the evenings. In summer, it's party time. So much racket outside my window, especially hate the drunks, the drunk yelling teenagers, and the zooming motor cycles. Plus... ....sunburns, despite all the sunscreen. Not being able to sleep, because it's so hot, even at night. Summer's just a big, noisy, awful, headache-inducing, stinky sticky mess, to me. I hate it already, and it's only just begun! Videos like this - and this is such a beautiful one - help me get through it.

Close my eyes and remember laying on the couch during snow storms with our fireplace burning and cackling. My children safe, warm and snug in their beds. All was well. They've grown up and living their own dreams and rightfully so. But once in a while I snuggle down on my couch. Listen to this video. Take a deep grateful sigh for back then and now knowing, all is well, all is well. ✨

I hate snow but love snow storms. It takes a lot to put me to sleep...i can never marker it past 5 minutes of any of ur videos let alone ones involving snow storms and fireplaces which are automatically a relaxing point for me as i love fire. This video also helps my autistic fiance get sleep on rough days so thank you for making these videos and spreading calmness to the world

I’ve tried a lot of blizzard videos. This is the one I keep coming back to. The ratio of sound, wind vs fire, is just right! And there’s no silly moon or stars outside. It looks like a blizzard. I even listen to this at work to tune out the noise. Bravo for a perfect video!

This reminds me of when I was little and I used to open my window just to hear the snow coming down. I absolutely love that sound. And the fireplace is just the cherry on top. I can definitely see myself sitting by the fire with a nice cup of hot chocolate just observing the snow fall. This truly is beautiful, thank you 💜

I moved to a more desert area and I miss the snow. Just listening to this is so relaxing and immediately puts me in a better mood. I picture myself in front of the fire with a nice, soft, puffy blanket and cocoa. I don't just listen to this for sleeping but also meditating as it immediately calms me down. I’ve always been comforted and feel happier when it snows. The warm colors and fire inside nicely contrast the white snow outside. I’d like to get snowed in and extend my trip. There are plenty of good books to read and music to listen to as I watch the snow fall. Thank you

I have for many years suffer from Insomnia, one gets used and I read through the night with occasional Tea and a biscuit, however have got into a pattern with this and eventually go to sleep. Now I put head phones and listened to this with other captions which I 💘 love Until the Dawn. From UK 💘🇬🇧❤.

Hey you. Yes, you. You're probably scrolling through the comments, like I am, reading all these motivational comments. If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. For me, I'm gonna wake up tomorrow morning, hit the gym, and cherish life for the amazing blessing that it is. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well

I've never been near a snowstorm. I don't like snow at all. I hate the cold. By some amazing miracle, THIS sound helps me sleep, helps me relax, helps me meditate and makes me desperately want to spend a weekend in a snowstorm. Bravo. Perfect sounds

We distanced ourselves so much from Mother Nature that most of us forgot how her lullabies sound. Every weather has a sound and a feel to it. Some people like the gentle warmth and smell of flowers during spring. Some like the sharp cold during winter and some the loud sounds the rain makes as Autumn approaches. Summer brings vacations and beach trips, with the sea/ocean who washes off the stress

currently have this video running on my Ambilight enabled TV. It would be great if this was available in 4k and higher bitrates, though it would probably take years to process to these requirements... still, great animation! My recommendations for viewing these ambient videos: - Set Ambilight to Follow Audio, Preset "Lumina" (thats what it's called in my tv) - Use a speaker system for the low frequencies in the wind sounds and turn down the crackling of the fireplace - Use the TVs built-in speakers for crisp Treble for the fireplace sounds - If possible, turn down the brightness of your TV to around 60% so that the mostly blue areas dont flood the room - Sit back with your favorite beverage, i would recommend tea with this setting - Grab a nice book and just drift away. - Wake up the next morning cranky as hell, with an aching back and an according temper because you slept away on the couch in an extremely strange position and now your neck and back muscles seem like they want to personally take your life as revenge. Also your book now has torn pages due to you dropping it and moving it around on the floor while asleep. Before you ask me: No, this TOTALLY did not happen to me last night. I FEEL GREAT! (thanks for the painkillers, Doc!)

@@user-xn2ec5xf7w а смысл? Ну ты дубина, видео же есть. А утром выйдешь на веранду, середина декабря, а у меня за окном трава зеленая, сирень и каштаны цветут. Температура воздуха +17°. Рай. Вечером опять включишь запись метели. Наслаждение. А ты мне " езжай на север". Жизни не знаешь, а еще " дядя вася". Тьфу

Это самые лучшие звуки, которые приятно слушать, сидя в тёплом доме! Лучший фон для уютного сна!

I miss living up in the north and hearing that sound. Having a nice blanket to keep me warm. The only problem is waking up in the morning to make sure all the snow and ice gets off the windshield and making sure the driveway is clear enough to get my car out. On some days I just called in sick. Now having gone through Covid-19 more work can be done remotely. Now if only more electric lines and cable, fiber optic lines were underground so the trees with ice don't crash down on the electric lines. Still I'd rather live up in the north then live down here in the south were it gets to hot and humid.

@@yosefgamos1909 Actually I haven't watched too much of it. Hopefully its on Amazon prime and I can watch it from there. That would be ideal living up in a northern climate, getting high speed internet from Elon Musk's type of satellites, generating my own power and going outside, using a chain saw and getting my own wood for the woodstove. Doing some remote software development inside my log cabin. I just read up on the native village of hughes in Alaska and their use of solar power. impressive.
