As an older girl I have a different perspective on scenario 1; the friend may have had a very good reason to not want her friend to get together with her ex. Maybe the ex is controlling, doesn’t respect women or has other offensive traits she doesn’t want to directly address but also doesn’t want the friend to have to experience. She may be trying to save her friend from serious heartache. I would suggest the girl talk to her friend about it to make sure what the reason is she doesn’t want her to get with the ex. If she doesn’t want to do that, she should be cautious towards the ex and make sure she gets to know him well before going for him.

This is what came to mind for me too. It might be that the friend is trying to spare her from something difficult/unpleasant but doesn't want to get into the details of exactly what.

Girls ...scrub scrub is very important step before shaving👙( body scrub is very good in general it makes your skin looks shiny) and another new discovery for me is using Pebanthen cream helps a lot it soothes skin after shaving and reduces the appearance of ingrown hair I recommend using it for the first 3 days after shaving / waxing. I love, how wise your thoughts about these topics are. I think your advise is very helpful for young women, who are still unsure or inexperienced in a relationship. It can be a minefield from time to time.🙂 I had to smile, when the question of the husbands best female friend came up, because my husbands best friend is female and was our maid of honour and one my two best friends is a man. It is really important to be honest about that from the very beginning and not to hide anything about the relationship to the best friend. That would make the whole thing suspicious, even if there is nothing suspicious about it. In my personal case I know, that I can truly trust my husband and his best friend and he knows it the other way round. We know, that our best friends are like family and nothing else. We love to meet together with our familys, because over the last 10 years we all met our spouses or future spouses and grew together as a group of friends. To be honest is always the key to a healthy relationship.

Girls panty liners are a must. Shower daily even more than once is better. However, going back to panty liners is life changing and I feel super clean. I change my liner whenever I use the restroom or if I feel uncomfortable. Sorry for tmi. ❤️🥰

Panty liners are good but apparently they make discharge worse because it doesn’t let your area breathe :) I used to use them but I became so much more comfy once I stopped & I also saved a lot of money

I started sugar waxing myself and after about 5 tries or so, I finally got it right yesterday! And I'm someone who would have NEVER in a million years thought I'd tolerate doing that!! Yes your first few tries will probably be disastrous and painful and confusing but you'll get it right eventually and it'll be the most sustainable, healthy, chemical free, private and CHEAPEST way to remove bodily hair!! Just watch soft sugar wax tutorials and make it yourself :) Seriously feel like I've gained a whole new skill that has saved me!

Hi, i know im not Amanda but im also muslim and had problems with this in the past. I now thread the middle and the top that reaches my hair line. This is all permissible however u are not allowed to shape them, basically the bottom. So u can neaten them up but not shape them. I also trim the long hairs, tbh i dont know if trimming the hair is allowed or not 100% but ive never heard other wise about that 🤷‍♀️ i then sometimes bleach the bottom just to lighten them, tho not till they are blonde, just a light brown so they are slightly less harsh as i have pitch black hair lol. Also brush them up, the bottom especially, at least 2 xs a day as it allows the brows to grow in an upward motion, so they will naturally form a shape tho it took be at least 6 months before they properly 'shaped' naturally lol Hope this helps!

In regards to the past, I’m an older woman about to get engaged In Sha Allah and my opinion is if your Muslim, it explicitly states that you don’t owe anyone an explanation about your past. Your past is something to learn from and grow from. You don’t have to tell anyone anything. It’s important to have this discussion with your partner to be or the person you like. Because their reaction will tell you so much about who they are. Unless you want to have an open discussion about the past (about your past and about your partner to be’s, past, it’s a two way thing) then communicate this and lay your cards on the table but make sure your comfortable and feel safe to talk about such things. Because in no way should they judge you, bring it up again or hold it against you. That shows that they’ve got some major growing to do themselves and clearly not the right one for you. whatever you’ve done in the past is between you and Allah SWT. And he knows best.

Love your responses! The only one I disagree with is telling your partner about your past. In Islam, you should hide your sins and not expose yourself. Plus, the past is the past it should never matter. I wouldn't wanna know details about my partner's past as honestly it will (even to a small degree) upset me. God looks at who people are now and forgives them. Who they were and what they've done, if god wants to conceal that, then why would I ask someone to expose themselves?

I think that’s more of a personal preference. But if it was about past relationships, I’d like to know. You might not want to know ALL the details but it’s important to have some information. A person’s past helps you understand your future with them. Something I’ve also learned is that time reveals everything and you don’t want a heavy past looming over your relationship and possibly bringing it all to an end. The heavier the past a person has the more urgently they should tell their partner.

Hi Amanda or anyone watching! I wrote into Instagram so the comment space may have been limited... But I’ve been having a hard time lately dealing with cultural differences in my relationship and I’d love some insight of someone with a similar situation / how your mom and dad got together/navigated cultural differences, being as she’s white and he’s Palestinian. I’m in the same situation right now where I’m white and I boyfriend is Palestinian and sometimes I feel like the cultural differences can be tough. You’ve touched upon it in your video about the traveling and stuff (A big one for me is not being able to meet his grandparents until we’re at least engaged so we’re not really able to spend holidays together which is hard) so it makes me feel better Yeah it really is a cultural thing and not so much a personal thing but sometimes I feel like it’s difficult to navigate and would sincerely appreciate any guidance you are anyone in the comments has!

Hey hun. Here is my advice. Step 1 is to be 100% sure that your boyfriend is serious about you. Being a palestinian female myself, I know there are soooo many arab guys who date people outside their race/religion, but never intend on marrying them because their family would never allow it. So to them it's just for fun. I hope your situation isn't like that, but please look out for the red flags, for example, not meeting anyone in his family, or his parents not knowing about you at all, or just kinda brushing off conversations about your future together. This is a very very common thing Arab guys do. Depending on your ages, if its an appropriate time for you both to get married, try to discuss meeting his family. If not parents and grandparents, at least siblings, cousins, etc. If he's serious about you, nothing and no one will stop him for marrying you. But be prepared for some backlash because unfortunately racism can be very common with arabs who wouldn't want their children marrying outside their race. So just be please aware and cautious and not fooled by false empty promises. Good luck
