REKT OpSix: Teardown, Mechanics, Mod Potential, and Assembly Guide | Walcom S7
Ойын-сауық
I plan to do more of these in the future, so please leave feedback down below so I know where to go with this. There's a lot of videos out there that don't have internals overviews and I plan to touch as many as possible as well as all future blasters from here on out if there's a desire for it.

Some things going forward if we do, please read this is you plan on trying to give a suggestion: 1) One of the reasons I didn't do close up photos was because that breaks the flow of the video (meaning I'd have to cut and take a picture then edit it) and also because it would just take longer to edit, and I felt like the somewhat grainy close up was good enough for the most part without the overkill. 2) I want better lighting. I'll fix this in the future. 3) Better quality (4K) is possible, but the problem stems from trying to edit 60 FPS 4K footage and the drastic increase in rendering time. Is it worth it? 4) I like this thumbnail style, but I need a new background for them. 5) Some bigger blasters that are hard to disassemble (like the Revonix) would be somewhat special episodes. The idea is that I don't want these videos to take longer than 30-45 minutes to produce and hopefully no longer than 90 minutes for editing. 6) I don't do any mods on purpose, the idea is a repository for all blasters and discuss what could potentially be done with them, and that way in the future if I do mod them I can call back to these videos as for how things happened since my mod-flow is generally hours of me tinkering until something happens. 7) I plan to cover every single blaster I review going forward, and if I don't plan on doing a review for whatever reason (like I got the blaster extremely late), I will be still doing an internals walkthrough with mod ideas. There's probably more, but that's the gist of what I'm trying to accomplish here.

That blaster is screaming to be stuck in a maverick. It will be a bit difficult if the barrel moves forward but it's still possible. There also seems to alot of dead space in the barrel assembly if someone made a kit to fix that it be awsome.
"Inside the ________" seems the most clear and simple way to title these kind of videos. Looking forward to this. More internal/tear down videos for blasters are always important to the hobby.

I agree. It’s an informative series, so I feel like a no-nonsense title fits best.
Easiest way to film is to edit in camera, in sequence, without narration, meaning turning camera on when something interesting is going on, then turning off during the boring parts. Then do all your voiceovers afterwards.
For Years now, your "Tag Back" series has helped guide me as I thrift when I find something I am not immediately familiar with. "Inside the ______" promises to be a Fantastic resource for Thrifters like me moving forward. (Also my Name Vote.)
While "Rippin' It A NERF One" amuses me in a rather juvenile way, "Inside The Blank" does make more sense...sadly.
I can't believe you took this apart again, you madman. "Inside the ____" works as a series title. Only suggestion I might have is to pull a few screenshots that clearly show internals or complicated assemblies and link them in the description. That way people don't have to pause the video to get a clear static picture. It's a bit more work for you, but it would add so much value to this series as an archive of information.
It's like watching someone perform surgery, I don't know what is going on but it's interesting. Bravo for getting it back together!
I was starting a 'series' loosely titled Kris Investigates where I open up and investigate the internals of whatever blasters I have. Sounds like a similar premise to this. So, I think, ' Walcom Investigates ' would be a good name.
1) If you did want to include close up photos, you could make an imgur album and link to it in the video description. You could also take the photos separately from doing the video, IE open the blaster, take all the photos, and then start the video. 2/3) I didn't notice any issues with the lighting and the quality was already quite sharp. 4) No opinion. 5) The revonix would be awesome, the Artemis and Hades are also blasters people use in wars that are fairly complicated. 6) If you do rebarrel the rekt pistol definitely let us know how it turns out! 7) Your work ethic is admirable and I look forward to future internals videos!
I think it would be cool to turn this into some sort of pistol carbine with an extended barrel. And since it is CO2 powered it probably will increase fps because the gas has more time to expand and push the dart forward.
Someone needs to design a 3D printed shell that allows it to take half dart mags
I really like the idea of this series, I think it will be helpful and neat.
I'll say call the series "Inside the blank".
The jinternals work exactly like a Crosman C11, a cheap airsoft non-blowback gun. which makes sense, with the REKT blasters coming from an airsoft company. I can confirm that increasing the strength of the "recoil spring" will increase the gas released by the knocker valve, but honestly unless you improve the barrel first it's probably just going to decrease gas efficiency.
Majik shotgun, and the possibility of potential

I can't wait for you to get deeper into this portion of your content
It's an airsoft NBB. Modified to shoot Nerf darts.

That would be a fun project for my old bb gun
Somebody needs to make these compatible with a katana or talon mag
Rival Khaos jam door lock removal, please, my Khaos jam door thing that keeps it closed broke
Rival Khaos jam door removal and where to put the wires to still work. Please. My Khaos jam door lock broke
Where can I find this blaster
When I saw this I thought about an in line clip
If it were me, I'd throw a smart AR into this to make it semi-auto.
Inside the Nerf microshot Stryfe!
@WalcomS7 this is like a great idea, but executed in a 2009 nightfinder ass fashion. Feel free to correct me if it's already been done wouldn't it be way better to put the CO2 under the barrel and Route it to the back of the guns that you could run short Dart clips in the handle where it's supposed to be? You could have round? chamber like a real blowback
If love to see the diatron work you mentioned ages ago.
My head had difficulty time focusing while watching this video, wether i should listen to the background music, or listen to what you talking.
slide breach brass breech
Inside the diatron
nerf nailbiter if you haven't yet
First idea would be to move the source of c02 to somewhere else such as a soda stream c02 canister attached to a belt. Second would be to use a empty 12 g c02 carriage to extend the “air tank” so to speak. Adding more c02 being outputted per trigger pull.
I see lots and LOTS of potential for this series. I will echo others in saying "Inside the [insert blaster name]" is the title that works best, imo. No, 4K is NOT worth it for one-man-band creators such as yourself. Even with the growth and spread of 4K monitors and screens in general, time is money, and tying up your rig/PC/laptop for HOURS to render a single clip is not worth your's. I would love to see your take on the Revoltinator as a next step, and no that's not just because that is my current project and I'd like a more expert opinion on running two separate circuits to split the lights/sound from the motors so I can not have to worry about MOSFETs. I'm not obsessed, you're obsessed....
Regulator, if you know smth bout it ;)
this video will be very useful for when I paint one, lol
New series idea, build breakdown, where you take some blasters that have been modded that have been sent to you, you do a format where you take it apart, and you can ask the person ( before you record) certain info, like size of spring, plunger modifications, and shell mods.
My video is corrupted and ive tried it on multiple devices so i think it's lost some packets of data within uploading

Works completely fine for me and nobody else has said anything.
The gun was a air soft gun a very bad air soft gun.
Not to sound rude but this video quality looks terrible compared to your other videos. probably just an encoding error

Most likely some weird settings I forgot to change back like the ISO because of filming with jang. It did look grainier than usual.
