I wanted to cry at that part. Being so hungry ang desperate for food, you have to turn to coins and glass..

"She realized she was a duck" is a small sentence, but so sad as it sums up all the hurt she had to endure before. Glad that she can now experience love and feeling safe.

Anyone claiming to be against animal cruelty for selfish pleasure or profit should walk their talk and be vegan. If you're not vegan, then start today. Fred is so sweet and beautiful. Too bad there are regulations against having barnyards animals. Those creatures are more fun and productive than a lot of people I know.

Her wings are cut at birth so the wild is not an option.

I had to skip to the end to see her recovered. I couldn’t bear to see her suffering. Bless this lady for helping this duck

What a beautiful rescue! Sadly, all over the world animals are abused & treated cruelly by sick humans. Thank God for people who are guided by their humane spirits of stewardship that rescue & care for abused, neglected & abandoned animals. Freddie's miracle was being cared back to life by this lovely woman. Thank you! ❤

NO. Dawn is an absolute garbage of a company. They test on animals, literally torturing them, even though it is 100% unnecessary-but getting around it would of course require either money to use computer testing, or money to get rid of the toxic ingredients that require the testing. I'm disgusted that Dawn has the audacity to pretend that they care about animals. They DONT. They only care about money. Shame on Geobeats for promoting animal cruelty.

@@FootballFanLeanne - years ago we had a house near a stream. We had ducks come around frequently. There was a pair that came every year. They bond for life, and we could tell by their markings. A neighbor's dog came rushing and killed the female. Her mate walked up and down our street for DAYS, calling. He quacked. A lot. Came back the next year and called for his mate. Is it only certain species that males don't quack?

Poor baby, I'm glad this wonderful lady was able to bring freddy back to life. She's such a lovely duck❤

Thank you for showing the world the beauty and worth of an individual duck and fit giving her the opportunity to be a duck and receive the love and happiness she deserves.

Poor little thing! I just love ducks all to pieces. I had 3 of them as pets as a kid. They are wonderful creatures in every way!!!!

He had ducks as pets in the past and they were wonderful. They are so much smarter than people think. They make great “watch dogs” because any time an animal would get into our fenced in back yard, they would quack and quack and let us know there was an intruder! Another benefit is that they would eat all of the grubs in the ground, and that kept moles away as a result. But I have to add that male ducks DO in fact have a voice too! lol. They can quack a really low, different kind of quack… I’m so thankful that this sweet girl was rescued and rehabbed! It’s a miracle the metal coins didn’t poison her, and the glass didn’t cut her internally. God bless her and the lady who saved her. ❤

A heartbreaking story with a wonderful ending. I raised ducks as pets, they are so much fun. Pekings are beautiful. I loved watching them take baths and preen their feathers. I am so thankful the effort this lady put in for Freddie. Yes it was a miracle.
