My type of ship! Simple, understated elegance without being garish. Food looked positively wonderful. More or less all inclusive including business class flights. What’s not to like? Well done Rich 👍🏻

Cheers Rob. There aren't many fully inclusive luxury ships out there - ALL excursions are included! This is the second time we've had lunch on a Regent ship and the food is beyond expectations!

Rich, you make good videos. Good narration, good voice, good camera work and good music. We just came back from a 7 night on Splendor. Talk about a spectacular ship. Going on a 10 night on the Voyager in October. This ship looks a bit dated given her years but as somebody stated, simple elegance still permeates throughout.

Interesting that Oceania is also owned by the same company which we’ve travelled with recently. The Voyager looks good for a ship thats been in service for twenty plus years. She looks fine and we look forward to travelling on her in October & we will feel instantly at home as she has the same restaurants as her siblings. The Splendour remains our favourite ship. Great video ,tastefully done.

:44 Great video coverage sweeping entry of the atrium. I love the multiple crossing overhead staircases. Would remind me of Venice archways except for that bit about it not being stone or Venice 😋 Interesting navigational relationship- that the restaurant is called Compass Rose- in aviation/air traffic control, a Compass Rose is used by pilots to test/align their aircraft compass prior to departing. I took great note of your filming places like the Horizon Lounge and Observation Lounge, Cabin 780, etc. Dark inside and very light outside, you seem to take great care and not standing too close to the window- clearly, this enable your camera to adjust as best possible to both worlds. As you will be well aware, I did not do a great job of this on our last voyage. Good production value, as always 🙂

Thanks Bob. Interesting fact about the Compass Rose - I didn't know. :) The light thing, as we've chewed over, is indeed a challenge. It's a bit bleached out in places, but sometimes you have to compromise... :)

Did Seven Seas twice to Baltic Sea and the Mediterranean but it’s been 12 years. Loved them

Filming a rehearsal without permission would be a big no no and certainly "rogueish and naughty" ;) Theatrical sets are also subject to copyright so you could find yourself in breach of copyright too as a result. I used to work as a stage manager and we frowned upon people trespassing and photographing or filming shows or rehearsals. That's probably why you were asked to leave. With that all said, another great review - thanks for sharing.

That's why we respected that and grabbed a few seconds, then left them to it. Thankfully, we didn't capture anything considered copyright infringement. :)

Please tell me there are no chair hogs. Our last 2 cruises were a disaster. Actual fights breaking out for deck chairs. Oceania Vista in November ‘ 23 and Celebrity Ascent Jan and Feb ‘24. Never even made it to the pools……and the mind numbing music. I had to wear my noise cancelling headphones just to walk through the pool area.

Yes they did. Mostly Heidsieck Monopole, though we did have a bottle of Verve Clicquot in our suite and there was the option to order plenty of other champagnes. I will attach the list in our suite with the prices as at June 2023. Hope this helps. To be honest, I didnt really find it to be any nicer than the Disney ships. The food is fancier but disney has fancy restaurants on board as well.

Hmmm. One very important item, especially in ships such as this. DRESS CODES - for dining. all types of venues entertainment and Casino ( which seems to be for real gamblers, not slot players)

Normally, we find that the more luxury the ship, the more relaxed the dress code is. Mind you, I guess you have to be sensible - no turning up to dinner dressed as an extra for Cats! :P
