The way I just started crying when you said the south garden is on its 4th year planted 😭 I started following you guys in 2020 to cope with the stillbirth of my son. We just celebrated Bash’s 4th birthday in the sky March 25th. You have helped me so much in these last four years. You don’t even know. I’ve gone from zero garden knowledge, to having a garden of my own in memory of my son. I’m so thankful for you & didn’t realize I needed a crying session this morning haha. Grief likes to sneak up on ya ❤ The south garden is a testament to what I’ve gone through these past 4 years. There’s been so much growth, maybe some setbacks, but a vision of so much beauty to come. Love you guys!

Laura, add a pair of shoes to the tools in your gator. That way you’ll have them at the ready when you need them for digging holes.

Now that you say that, perfectly obvious! Great idea!
"I'm kinda excited about it", when are you not excited? One of the many reasons we love watching you garden! Your enthusiasm is contagious!

Just caught Cheddar or Russell (?) sunbathing on that settee. Ahhh, a cat's life!🧡
Playing in the dirt and knowing that you are enjoying it shows all over your face. I love it. 😂🥰
LOVE IT ... dirty hands and dirty face ... TRUE GARDENING ... that is exactly how I look each time I come in from gardening whether flower or vegetable gardening. I watch you pretty much DAILY before work, it helps me feel as though I have done what I love each day, although in Iowa the summer is never long enough to get it all accomplished. Thank you for being REAL ... ❤

I love it when Laura has a dirty face too! I go looking for stupid comments to give those people a piece of my mind. :D lol
I think the topiary adds a touch of whimsy to the cottage vibe of the south garden! ❤
A cat napping in the sun is one of my favorite sights!
The "girls" 🐔 supervising the trimming process was a crackup ! 🥚 😂
I love that topiary out in the South Garden! A little fun pop of unexpected whimsy! ♡ I think the succulent planter will be a beautiful centerpiece on top of the propane log and how fun to see "little hands" helping you refresh that container, too.♡
Moving things in the garden is inevitable. A refresh is almost as satisfying as a new plant…lol
Really liked that you drive around to see just the "best" space for certain plants. A perfect spot was found...yes, yes, that's it. You do it. Thank you.
The South garden is gorgeous and your topiary looks good in that spot. Remember when the whole area there was empty of plants you have much to be proud of.
Laura, you make everything look so beautiful. Your talent is truly a gift from God.

I didn't realize blooms means the original mother plant was going to die. I always thought I'd killed it somehow. Now I know. Always learning so much from you.
What a gorgeous Japanese Maple
Just love your Japanese maple. Such a beautiful tree.
Refreshing, re-potting, and moving. How rewarding. 😊
Oh! Don’t you love spring!❤❤❤
Time to repurpose those pallet planks! Everything else looks so amazing!

Very common spelling error. Palette= Surface on which a painter mixes colors. Palate= The roof of the mouth. Pallet= A flat transport structure which supports goods in a stable fashion.
Laura, I simply love your 'clean up' videos - inspirational, yes, yet so calming as well. Your videos have helped me to get out in my garden, expanding it, changing it up when needed and loving every minute of it. Thank you for your knowledge, sharing your experiences and your sensible, honest and creative approach to gardening and life. (Okay, I also really love your videos with your Mom and Monica too!) ☺
Am I the only one who thought the pot the topiary was in was authentic terracotta?!?! I gasped when Laura dropped it, haha. I love all the results!

Oh my me too.......I thought to myself she's going to break it😂😂😂
Great Spring Cleaning projects Laura! There seems to be many beautiful beds of Daffodils in bloom near where the topiary was planted...Laura, do you think you could start filming the "daffs" while they are at their best and add on footage of bulbs as they bloom for a "Gorgeous bulbs vlog"?? Would really love that🌷🌷🌷
Just want to thank you! Been watching a couple of years now since we moved to this new to us property that was terribly overgrown and neglected and you gave me the courage to take three very large junipers and move them along with a couple of rhododendrons and it has been a couple of months and all are showing fresh growth and the rhodys are blooming!
Such beautiful plants and look great in the new spots! The flowering trees look gorgeous 🥰! Have a blessed week everyone! Blessings 🙏🏻💞
Love how the topiary went from scruffy to beautiful! And it’s in a perfect spot now!
I really love Japanese maples, and that particular one is spectacular!
Now, I don’t feel so bad about my succulent arrangements after seeing yours😄😄
Did we miss the spray down with the neem oil? That container looked so good after the refresh.
I loved where you put the topiary, I had doubts but it looks so whimsy. You are something Laura, you can do anything, you don’t wait for a man’s help, attagirl! ❤
Out with old crowded and in with renewed plants! Nothing wasted!
It amazes me at how you plant things and they just flourish. When I plant things it turns into a game of survival. I’m just praying for the best this year. 😂😂
Love the sempivirens! They are so pretty. I want to look into that Japanese Maple. Those colors in the fall are stunning. Thank you for all your ideas and inspiration. Good Gardening!
You driving around your property reminds me of visiting LARGE horticultural gardens. Do you think about that? All that you've accomplished and are able to buy, provide to make your garden dreams come true is such a blessing. Thank you for sharing your blessings with us; especially Benjamin and Samantha Grace❣️✝️🕊
Everybody looked happier after your work. The topiary is happier in the ground. The Japanese Maple will have more room to grow and the simps have a refresh. A productive time. Have a blessed day everyone.
I'm obsessed with this topiary in the landscape! Add more all over. Little pops of topiarys!!! Oh it would look so cool!!
I like the black slats on your porch behind the Japanese maple.
Very productive…motivating, as always. I’ve seen beautiful flowering trees in the last couple of videos. Would you be interested in featuring a list of Garden Answer’s favorite spring flowering trees in the future? You may have already put together a video but there seem to be so many new varieties that have come out in recent seasons. Take care!
Your accomplishments today were Perfect and Beautiful!! I enjoy your KZread so much. You'll have continued to enhance your property each and everyday. Your entire property/gardens are amazing.
Aaron's in his zone, mowing along. That's ok, Laura, you got it!
Good morning all have a safe and blessed day ❤️
Love watching refresh. Love seeing kitty basking in the sun
I hope new river surrounds the whole new area of playland, it would be incredible having like a long river with one nice big bridge and a swimming area in the pond
All 3 projects look great now. Each Spring gardeners have jobs like these, and it gives new life to them and makes them seem new again.

Yes, thanks for embracing the mundane and grand projects equally!
I love that you painted the panels of the porch black! It looks fantastic.
How exciting!! I can't wait to see the beautiful flowers in the south garden!😊❤
Awww how lovely to see your parents supplying one of my fave aussie garden products We the wild! Its amazing stuff Laura, i have been using it for years on my houseplants... especially Grow. You should give it a try, I cut and pasted this info from their website... *How to use 1. Spray Protect Spray for healthy leaves 2. Squeeze Grow Concentrate into your water for fast growth 3. Sprinkle Support Pellets on your soil, or soiless media for strong roots and resilient plants. Made me smile to see that Australian product is available at Andrew's. ..so cool ❤❤
Hello Laura, I have been watching older videos and loving the planting competition video and the flower alley ones. Would you consider doing something like those again? They are so fun and I get so many ideas for my own containers. Thank you and enjoy you, Aaron, the kids and your workers.
Love it. Who says you can't put something square in a round hole. 🤣💖🙏🕊
Benjamin is such a sweet boy! Wow those evergreens look so healthy and lush.
Three beautiful projects completed somehow made ME feel productive. I loved seeing the orange cat sleeping on the outdoor couch.
The Final Fire looks great in that pot! We are so happy to have one in your beautiful garden!
This was a great motivator for getting my straggly succulents perked up! Thanks!
Good morning, Laura ☕️I think the topiary looks great! It will be much happier for sure as will the Japanese Maple. Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈🐈
Good Morning! 🌷The Topiary is thanking you for it's new home!! The Japanese Maple looks good in the new pot! I spotted little hands helping with the Succulent refresh! Everything looks so nice after the refresh! 🙂🌵🪴🌿
Great job with the topiary! The placement is perfect! It makes all the other plants around it look better.❤
I don’t care what Aaron says, that wisteria, arbor and concrete planter look fabulous right there.

I love how something like this is just a matter of opinion. When I saw it, my first thought was, yep, it’s got to go 😂 It will be interesting to see what the fate of the wisteria is.
Laura you are a delight to my heart ❤️ every time I want you You always include us plus you make me feel like I’m part off the decision.. lol
This video makes me want a garden tour 😍
Having a yard full of plants leaning in different directions would actually be super cute. Very adams. That makes me happy
Wow cannot believe the way the juniper changed. You brought it back to life planting it in the south land. Nice
Love where the topiary and Japanese Maple was placed. The planter how nice.
The toupiary looks sooo good right there. Sempivirens sooo cuute. The maple is going to be sooo happy in the new container. What a fun little day. Paul and Bethany are go getters. I loved it when Aaron came in like a wrecking ball. Hahaha. He is on a mission. See you in the next one. 💜💜🌿🌿🌿🪴🪴🪴🪴☕☕☕☕. Good morning everyone. Have a happy day.
Blooms of the semps doesn’t mean they will die.
Very Especially for someone who has watched your show from the beginning Thanks again so much For sharing a part of your Life. The topiary really shines . I'm Excited about everything that's waking up😊Fun 🎉
Good morning! Little projects that need a refresh are always fun. We are finally getting some decent weather so I’m hoping we’ve turned the weather corner!
The tree you trimmed and put in your landscape looks so pretty! and Love red maple trees.
I love the way you painted your house it's absolutely beautiful your Japanese maple looks great in that pot.
Laura you need more of those pacific rim trees in your gardens. A lot of those trees! One for each garden space 😂
Beautiful design with the succulents. FYI, your cats have the best life.
Laura: "I'll get started on digging the hole while waiting for Erin to get out here" Also Laura: *Proceeds to plant the entire topiary by herself in sandals. Lesson: Don't underestimate the power of Laura and her sandals 😂
Love the topiary where you placed it - I was yelling at the screen to put it way outside in a totally unformal place as a nice surprise to see. You obviously heard me - LOL. I love garden surprises!
I like the whimsy the topiary brings to the landscape. Planted box wood last year so I can add globes here and there.
You are doing like always an amazing job! 👏👏👏Greetings from Flowers Zone Albania 🇦🇱
11:31 I hope you can revisit this tree so we can see its transformation of colors. Just a stop by all summer. How big will it get at full maturity? Great video as always. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Anyone else remember when she got those topiaries at Home Depot clearance for $20?
I’m DYING to know Aaron’s thoughts on the placement of the topiary 😂. (I think it looks great) He likes to try to hold you to things like “nothing formal in the South Garden”
It would be so awesome to see a compilation video all the bulbs.I know they bloom at different times so compilation showing them at best would be amazing
Three great projects! I love the way you put so much stuff in one bowl or planter! It looks great!
😂😂 You trew the terracotta pot on the ground and i was no what the ....., then realised it was plastic hahaha.
We are zone 5 here in Alaska ~ just wondering when I should bring my maple out of the garage ~🌻
My fav are the loop area projects, it’s just gorgeous there, it’s perennial paradise
i could look at the pond and fish all day.
Love the topiary refresh, Laura. 😊
A blessed evening to all !!!!
Everything looks amazing, Topiary, succulent, and Maple wow!
I bet the south garden will look fabulous this year!
love the topiary in the landscape..you need more of this architecture!!
What fun ! 🍃❤️🍃
The added rocks look perfect in your koi pond. It looks prettier than ever! I'm excited about your future stream.
The topiary looks amazing there. I would have never in a million years thought of that❤
You should keep a pair of tennis shoes in the gator-just bungee (is that a verb 🤔) the shoes 👟 to the back of the seat. I have gardening shoes in my car, in the garage, n my closet etc lol. The cat looks comfy ☺️
Good job Laura. I am going to pick up my butterfly magnolia to plant and celebrate love of our children/grandchildren. Lily is 4 months already. She is my son Mikes first child. So blessed. 0:53 My son Andrew has Taylor snd grant. My son Matthew has Jackson and Madison . OUR CHILDREN OUR WORLD
Great projects! I made my own sempervivum bowl this spring and can’t wait to put it out on my patio table when it warms up (zone 5b) ✊🏻🫶🏻🇨🇦
That topiary looks perfect out there.
It always feels so good to get a few things done, that we "I" always put off. The evergreen looks amazing in the south gardens, the Japanese Maples is going to be beautiful when it leaves out. The succulents look beautiful by the pond. The pond is so very beautiful. Great video❤
Good morning!🌻🐝
I'm gonna try combining the succulents i have in a bowl. That's a very pretty rustic design.
I like it. It adds character. It’s like a 🍭
