Laura deserves a new stainless steel coffee cup to keep it warm .

I think that one of the reasons this channel is so successful, and so beloved, is the genuine love and unending excitement over plants. Seeing someone who does this day in, and day out, and is still so in love with every new pretty plant is such a wildly joyful thing. You've cultivated not only a beautiful garden, but also a lovely community full of people whose dream is to listen to the rain, drink a cup of coffee, and gush over new plants and the promise of even more beautiful spaces, and days, and memories they bring.

Anybody else eyeing all that "pallet wood" I can see future projects. I love these videos. I enjoy getting to see all the new varieties and your descriptions of them. It helps me when I go to our local nursery or order on line. You are a jewel!

On this, I feel her. I spent 28 years in Colorado, and the high desert climate really bakes you into a crispy piece of toast. When I moved to the Midwest, people thought I was crazy when I would go on and on about how wonderful rainy, cloudy, drizzly days were. 😂 You can feel yourself rehydrate down to your soul.

Isn't it amazing how everything is good to somebody and bad to another!? The number of times people express envy of our perpetual summer....it's the weather man saying cover your plants we're in the 30s the next 3 nights that gives me a thrill!!!! 😂

Laura could say today's video will be watching paint dry and i would think nope not watching that. The next thing i know i have watched the whole video and enjoyed it from start to finish! Your personality, joy of life, love of what you do and just your whole attitude is such a breath of fresh air. Can't thank you and Aaron enough for all you give to us.

Same....I know they are real people with real life problems, but showcasing the love of nature with the cheer and lighthearted attitude is the most addictive part of GA.....add in a sprinkle of the sweetest babies and fur babies and my whole day is made!!!!❤❤❤

OMG!! Instant gratification...from an empty high tunnel to something that looks like a commercial grower. The plants look fabulous.

I love the bad hair day plants. I was cracking up when you were showing it. I love them all. WOW that is a huge shipment. Goodness. I can't wait to see where you plug em in. I love when Laura is naming the plants as she is peeking through the plastic. It reminds me of a children’s television show Romper Room when she is looking through her mirror(?) saying, “I see Johnny and Timmy etc… Takes me back to good times.😂😂😂😂😂😂❤

It is as if Laura is recreating her childhood, her dreams and wishes all at once. Her mom is always smiling, her dad, proud. Aaron's family too. A beautiful way to honor your heritage.

My favorite kind of video. And even though no one wants a plant to get a disease of any kind, I do like that you show pictures of a plant (coneflowers) with a certain disease and talk about it. Wouldn't mind watching a video where you talk more about certain diseases, what they look like, and what plants they seem to affect. Thank you

If I could experience her best day, my gardens would be complete! I adore this girl; she deserves nothing but the best. Enjoy all your adventures!

If you aren't in a zone where the Mangave are hearty in, just sink a planter into the ground. Then you can slide the planter that you have your Mangave plant in right down into it. Then when the weather starts to change, just pop it out and ok UT it somewhere protected until next season. Just have to keep an eye on whether it starts to outgrow it's current container and you have to upsize it. Lol Can do this with lots of different plants to make them a part of your bed design & layout.

who else made a shopping list watching this? 3 of those, 5 of those, etc.. i love these type of videos before gardening season kicks off, helps give me news ideas and plants to try.

Typically, the huge-leafed Bergenias aren't as hardy as the smaller-leafed ones. In Zone 6-7 here in Italy, a variety of impressively large Bergenia I got in England dwindled for some 4 years before officially giving up the ghost. It was superbly jungly. You might want to try a plant in the Hartley.

I was sad about the fake boxwoods on the porch for a minute, but then she said she'd pin back the mangave's bangs in the head planter. I can't stay mad at you Laura! I laughed out loud. That's brilliant!

I agree with some others about the pallet wood showing up in the future. Great video as usual. I planted a few Blackbeard penstemon a few years ago and found it to be the most invasive plant ever. My neighbors have even “thanked me” for the free plants. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Wonderful, slow pace video with Coffee, checking out the new plants and listening to the rain overhead. My grandparents old farmhouse had a corrugated tin roof. Nothing was better than listening to the rain on the tin roof as you fell asleep under one of grandmas, homemade patchwork quilts. Thanks for sparking the memory.

Hostas definitely love water. I think Brian grows one right in the pond, where the wetland filter is and its roots just grabs onto the rocks and gravel. I'm really excited to see more of the Aphrodite and Spice Baby in the garden. They look gorgeous.

I used to go walk around the Walters Gardens test gardens for inspiration when I lived over there.....I miss that!

I live in a very humid climate and I still supplement water to my big hostas throughout the summer. I am sure at some point, I could give them too much water, but I've yet to find too much.

Those Bergenias are enormous! Lovely to see the new load & I’ll look forward to seeing where you put them & how they perform.

I really enjoy when you go through all the plants you get. I have learned a lot as to what plants would do well in my zone and what I should expect as far as size, bloom and hardiness. Thanks
