Thanks Jose! One question: Can the Pro1000 inks be used to refill the Pro300? Some of the Lucia pro inks are missing of course but are the rest the same?

Basically yes but just like with the PRO200 they reformulated the inks enough to make very difficult for 3rd party to reproduce. So if the " Improved" the P300 inks in the same manner you would need to reprofile all your papers if you filled P300 carts with PRO1000 inks. We hope they did not do as they did with the PRO200.

I know this video is a little older, but can you still refill the OEM Epson Carts for the XP-15000?? I watched your other videos and pulled the trigger to order everything to render it chipless and refill original carts, just making sure this is still applicable for the present time...

I've decided to drill refill holes for my Pro 1000 cartridges. In your video you mentioned Rick Johnston as a source, but I can't seem to find any links etc? Could you please point me in the right direction for this information. Great videos. I didn't realize how little I knew until I started watching them. Thanks.

Hi. Thanks for your videos. I found a new reseter for p700 and p900 on AliExpress but only for the EU version. I tried to put the link here but KZread removed it. Do you know if it works?

I have also come across 2 companies that claim to have reseters for the P700/900 printers and they both claim that they work on the (NA)OEM carts. Any update on this?

I didn't know where to ask this question: I need to print DVDs and want to use refillable catridges or a CIS system. Do you have your best suggestion on which printer to buy?

A lot of New desktop printers CANON and EPSON will allow Disk printing. But they are not for CISS or refillable carts. You will have to find one that still allows 3rd party products and then hope you can find one.

Many thanks for the brilliant interviews and here's to being in tip top shape! I am thinking of jumping to Canon after my epson R3000 finally stops cranking out. It's be a great machine, and I have several epson cartridges still to get through. after that I need to decide if I should try refills to get the last out of the R3000 before the waste bottle life ends. After that I reckon Canon is the way to go. I have been printing gloss on the R3000, not matt and I am afraid to switch the R3000 to the Matt channel incase it gets stuck there. I have heard it's a big problem, but how do you know? I rather be stuck on gloss than matt so unless there is some way to test it, I can't try the odd matt print. at least the new machines dropped that valve system.

If you are referring to an external waste ink bottle you can reset the counter back to zero. Are you diverting the waste ink to the out side? Let me know and if so I can help. There is no way to test the valve other than to run it. You should have been running it at least every few months to keep it supple.

HELP!!! I bought a Epson Sure color P800 use, the display show error 031006, earlier it said something about bleeding or purging line??? Also the cleanup tray seem pretty heavy and the cartridge feel very light... like empty. Is anyone could help me? This is my first time whit this printer and to be honest I do not know much except the printer seem relatively new and some one had it before and run the cartridge DRY. I bought it for part repair...

First off, Jose, your health is of utmost importance. You are a treasure and I pray that you'll be able to conquer what you are facing now. I hope that you are surrounded by a loving family too. I have a question about photo paper. Isn't there a way I could use my own handmade paper and spray or brush a chemical compound on the paper so that the paper will work with inkjet printers?

Theoretically I don't see why not. It would be a specialty look I suppose. In a couple of weeks I will have Drew Hendricks Owner of Red River Papers and I would love to ask him exactly what is an INK JET receptive coating made of. Thank you for the well wishes.

@@cheo1949 Thank you, Jose, for your reply. I’m excited to hear what Red River Papers says. The only answer I’ve heard is that the coating on paper is some kind of “clay” which prevents ink droplets from spreading. There just has to be a way to use our own paper rather than prepared standard inkjet papers.

This is the last new EPSON Model that can be refilled. Except for ECO Tank models which use lower quality dye inks. The inks are about The same as mediocre 3rd party ink equivalents. Good for general non photographic use but not for serious photographers. The 15000 is probable the best epson dye ink printer you can get today.

Hi Jose, I have an Epson XP245. It was working, but then next day all 4 LEDs were flashing after power on. Internet says it means 'fatal error' but is there a simple and easy way to fix it? Thx

Fatal often means just that. Your only option is to try to turn off pull the plug. re plug and repower. Are you using OEM tanks. Does your printer have a user replaceable waste ink tank?
