Your explanation about English reductions is so good, clearly and engaging. Many people in the US tend to speak so quickly and that's pretty normal but the main problem begins with having conversations with native English speakers for the first time. Many natives would have a hard time when speaking with non-native speakers because as a foreigner, I would never understand the strange way how most of them talk in informal situations. I could grasp what you were saying perfectly well after learning English for almost six years. Spoken English is actually very fast but I can understand many Americans, Canadians and Brits in formal settings and we should remember that English is a highly idiomatic language. Thanks a lot after all, that was very kind of you.
