This may sound weird, but Lay with your backside up against the wall and your legs going up the wall. With your feet against the wall, climb the wall lifting your backside until you are mostly on your shoulders. The majority of your body should be parallel with the wall. Bend your knees to a 45° angle and go on your tippy toes and move thighs in and out. Pressure will be relieved once you figure out the right move. Go back into a relaxed position after a few minutes and then repeat. Keep doing this for the duration of your period and anytime that there is pain. Doing so should result in instant pain relief and may result in no more painful periods. Yes it sounds funny, but if it works… It’s worth a try right?

"Avoid alcohol" has been the worst advice for cramps I ever recieved in my life! Too many times I have taken NSAIDs and suffered for an hour waiting for the effect, when just one beer could have cured my cramps as fast as I could finish it. Beer specifically is better than NSAIDs because the alcohol is a stronger pain-killer and a diuretic, and the ratio of the drug's compound to water helps the body detox it more easily.

  • @tanyamarie510

This works for me too. I read that alcohol is bad and I never believe that beer helps. So it is not placebo effect because I don’t believe it, but whenever I have severe cramps and I have beer it goes away like magic.

Any beer from 3% to 5% alcohol by volume is strong enough. The body can build a tolerance to alcohol very quickly, so use the lowest dose possible, and try not to get used to drinking more than that. They used to say in Latin, "dosis sola facit venenum," which means "only the dose makes it poison." When drinking, remember that the difference between medicine and poison is the dose. Never use more than the minimum dose you need. Check the labels for percentages when selecting the beer. If you're not experienced with alcohol consumption, tell someone you trust to keep an eye on you the first few times you try it. Educate yourself on the many risks and harms of alcohol. Good luck, please drink responsibly, and never drink and drive!
