Paul Richardson practiced today so hopefully he plays Thursday...Gruden says it's up in the air still. Gruden also said Guice is close to getting the green light. Later it was confirmed that Guice will play Thursday.

** Just to be clear, I said at the beginning that I was wondering if the Redskins may have looked at Josh Woldrum as a developmental project at the number 3 IF they in fact cut Colt (and that it didn't matter now because he's been placed on IR anyways)...further in the video I said the reason to cut Colt was injury issues, not for Woldrum. I obviously know that Colt McCoy knows the offense well and would play better in it than Woldrum...I was merely pointing out that Colt is ALWAYS injured and if Woldrum didn't get injured, he may have won the spot simply because Colt isn't going to be playing anytime soon. Common sense says the player who ISN'T injured is the one who will stay on the roster...just a note for those who get to 0:38 and think you know everything I'm going to say in the entire video.

Definitely a QBs coach is smart for colt.

Blame both ways if needed. Not sure how he would be capable of playing in the playoffs last season if he's still hurt. Can't remember what wk he suffered the injury but the time table just didn't make sense in terms of playing.

Good vid as always. Given his age and injury history, we need to move on from Colt.

At this point I'd honestly rather use the spot on the depth chart for a developmental 3rd string guy that could at least be healthy if we needed someone to run the playbook in an emergency. Colt can't be depended on for anything at this stage of his career.

HTTR® Well, we signed Jalan McClendon when Woodrum went down and he didn’t look terrible, even though it was like the 4th string defense out there. Maybe we could use him since Woodrum is done for the year.

@@WahooBrad24 Looked like McClendon has a decent arm...couldn't tell much else since like you said, he was out there against the 4th string. I think last year proved we need to have three even if the third one is young.

Man I feel we are gonna go in dropping like flies on the first week against the eagles with injuries I already see it.. I hope iam wrong. I hope we can stay healthy for one but its prime time division game

Nah it's not prime time...it's a one o'clock game. Each year is different so hopefully they have better luck with injuries in 2019
