Correction: I mentioned the Dimensity chipsets are 5nm in size, but they are actually 6nm. Clarification: I mention 4k video is not stabilized on the 12 Pro+, meaning there is no electronic stabilization (EIS) when recording in 4k. There is obviously hardware stabilization (OIS), which helps but adding EIS as an option at 4k would have been much better.

I know that it's much, but video is much improved. I personally wouldn't use either for video but man the improvements to the main camera are so nice when they hit. Great comparison as always sir.

Nighttime photos are significantly better on the Note 12 pro+ and definitely a big improvement. I think video quality is the biggest differentiator between the main camera on this phone and more expensive phones. Not sure if they don't offer 4k or 1080p 60fps eis on the main camera because of something to do with the processor or if it's just a price differentiation strategy

Once again I feel Xiaomi is leading the charge in this price segment. Pretty impressive cameras in this budget to midrange segment. Curious on how network reception is though? Looks like Xiaomi may be omitted a lot of US carrier bands, which is unfortunate.

In photos, during daylight i can't say that 12 Pro+ is better than 11 Pro+, sometimes colors are even better on 11 Pro+, but during low light 12 Pro+ definitely better (most likely due to OIS which reduces the number of blurry photos) In videos 12 Pro+ is better as well, If you still had RN 10 Pro, would be interesting to compare it with 12 Pro+ As a smartphone, i would not pick any of them due to trashy MIUI.

Lol, I'm used to MiUI so it's not a deal breaker for me and I'd normally give these phones a break given the price, but the Pixel 6a has proven it can be done.

The audio seems to be so much better on the 11 pro plus. On the 12, you can hear lots of background noise.

12 Pro? Don't have that one, but might compare against the 10 Pro since I have that one still.

For front camera video 11 pro + is better but for back camera 12 Pro + is better. For Night Video 12 Pro is better comparable to iphone 14 series. By the way Im using Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Wouldn't be much of a fight

It's pretty obvious that the 12 pro+ blows the 11 pro+ out of the freaking water in the camera dept., which exactly what you will expect from a successor.. but the only thing that's keeping me from upgrading to 12 was it's "corny" looks, man I hate the design of this new Note12 pro+ I'm keeping my Note11 pro+ still....

Chinese phones are incredibly good. I'll buy this. But sadly China's actions with its neighbour countries are biggest downturn

I just purchased the note 12 pro+ and i recorded some videos at 1080 30fps and the stabilization is terrible i thought only my phone was having this issue, but in your test you can see that the stabilization here is terrible too, you can clearly see it at 5:18, do you think they can solve this with software??? or its just a cheap OIS? thanks
