This video and fights like these are why Eve is one of the best games ever made. Not only was it an incredible battle, but it was a 3 sided battle and allies were made mid fight. Stories like these are why I'll never quit Eve :D

join a nullsec alliance, always running fleets

It's doing better now than ever in my opinion. I'd recommend either joining a null sec alliance if you want big fleet ops, join faction warfare if you want smaller gangs, look up streamers (Zarvox Toral runs a fleet every Saturday and has a huge following), or join Specter Fleet which runs fleets often and has no commitment.

Haaseo here, I was one of the ones that was shooting the deacon, and Original Sinners corp members always keep their word. was a good fight man.

"I get a bit of a fright when someone mentions a cyno in local." The moment I saw the guy type "blue cyno" in local, I immediately flipped over to scan the overview. It's amazing what a few years of heavy ship PVP will do to your reactions/fright-to-pucker ratio!

Great video, man. This isn't a criticism, but it's not the best piloting I've seen (better than anything I could do though) - but that actually ends up making it one of the best EVE PVP videos I've seen. The fact you're honest with the mistakes you make helps newer pilots to learn what they should be doing in those situations, and the battle read out in such a wonderfully narrative way: lows, highs, then lows again, then ending on a really nice high which shows the almost 'honour amongst thieves' nature of EVE Online. Brilliant.

Anyone would make mistakes when solo pvping like that especially against a gang. Panic does happen after all.

I got a Kronos valued at 3,2 bill and implants to match worth 8 bill so yeah even us old folk can have that( i'm afraid of loosing my ship moment) :D

any idea why that scythe pilot was so close? i'm looking at the fit, and even a level 3 minmatar cruiser pilot gets 29km (role bonus so constant) - they were even using 'scoped' which was tailored for range.

As a fan of the Kronos, good vid. I'm just like you whenever i got into a fight...soo many mistakes...its easy to spot them after the fight is over, glad you weren't too proud to show us your mistakes!

You know you're having a hard time when the whole fleet gets whooped trying to take out ONE marauder class ship

+Marshall Husvar corp roams. they're cheap, do great DPS and can be fit in heaps of different ways.

Protip for next time, neuts are often far more effective on targets that are not your primary. or small tackle. Neuts on logi to help you break something, or to prevent targets from slipping away from you with a prop mod. Or to reduce incoming dps. You can effectively remove the dps of two thoraxes at a time with neuts on a different thorax. One forced to pull range, the other capped out. So consider those options when you look for targets for the neuts. Your usage in the second fight with them is much better.

This made me start training to wield a marauder; I've been sitting bored lately in my Gila thinking about where to go next. I've decided it will certainly be a marauder class ship. I once engaged a Kronos with my gang in a smaller fleet of similar composition.... But I was in a Pilgrim, so game over, Kronos *g* It feels so good, to be the rock to someone's scissors :-) However : I love people who have the balls to take out their blingy ships to battle! Cudos to you, sir!

I like that as well. I used to solo fight often in Eve as well, and it got pretty aggravating rarely coming across anyone else who wanted to show some.

yeah when me and my buddies took out algos, and were fighting a 3v3, the other guys titian bridged on us with 23 Gilas.... good times.. good times...

This was a next video from what I was watching before I kept it running because music was good, looked down and saw what it was and rewatched it dude. I love the kronos. Wish it wouldn't get slapped in null by carrier drops because I loved taking mine ratting in high sec.

i liked that video , i realized that mistakes in eve are nulled by balls + analytic skills and adrenaline management. who care about your mistakes , your decision making was more than decent , and your adrenaline management was great. you ended up surviving. and that is the only thing that matters. Good fight. people saying mistakes where done are good at spotting them , but definitly not good @ handling it. maybe they will learn something from you. stay calm > mistakes. moarrrrrr please
