"Sorry sean" I could almost hear Sean laughing. This looks like it may be a decent crawler w/ a different system in it like you said. The suspension almost seems crawler oriented and w/good articulation.

nice test run. I laid a similar beating on mine, maybe a touch harder.. I did manage to blow the rear gears. Redcat has a solid rig here. Easily converted to a 1/8 crawler, a formula offroad style rig, or a solid axle MT. I think it's a great addition to the hobby.

I just picked one of these up today, Hobby shop got them in right before I walked in, and I was looking at the Traxxas Maxx (i know they aren't in same class) but I like my Gen8 and for under $400 and it looks well built figured I'd give it a shot since it's brushless.

Looks like a great vehicle! I have been worried about Redcat ever since my Volcano EPC MT, but this seems pretty great! Obviously it's in a different class than the Volcano EPX, but seems like it will last way longer.

I got mine yesterday. And it's a beast on 4s . Yeah I did . But I went back to 3s today. I wanna make it last a lil bit lol . Yes it's a good RC and yes with a sensored system you could get your crawl on

I like thia. Redcat has come such a long way. I appreciate the fact that they make things affordable. I'm not willing to pay 900 for an Xmass for 700 for an erevo. I have a Landslide XTE and I love it. I'm not an RC snob they a longshot. As long as there are parts on Amazon or Ebay, I'll buy.

Would love to see the Axe 3300kv system in this one as you mentioned. Maybe the best of high speed bashing/racing and low speed crawling control.

Pretty bad ass car! I would make it wider so it dont flip as easy.

Yup definitely could use a axe 3300. The body seems to make a lot of noise but other then that this thing looks solid.

Your driving is like mine. Bash it and enjoy it. That's the way I was running it the other day. Looking at mods for making it a crawler. Figure it does need the axe system for a crawler and a little more weight in the front. LOL

Ya , the Mamba X would make that stock motor more controllable if that's what you want. But I think I'd go with a Puller Pro R 540-L V2 Rock Crawler motor 4100KV

Nice truck, i would like to get one of those in kit form , so i could put a 1080 esc , and 35-45 turn brushed motor, -make a good trailer -crawler ,of coarse play with shock fluid,-height, and so on,--you know what im getting at, anyway great video as uaual

Needs a mamba x with auxiliary wire to change from drag brake to no drag brake on the fly maybe a new Holmes hobbies puller pro v2 3500kv to pair with it

It looks to be a great little 'crossover' between crawlers and 35+mph bashers. I'm impressed at the beating it took. Just don't ask to drive or borrow any of my trucks. :-D

Yeah I like it. I’ve got to get those tire tests scheduled. Hopefully I’ll have some spare time to get things set up for those tests

I'm thinking about picking one of these up after just ordering an everest 10 and seeing how slow it is. I love crawling so I understand it being slow but I like the crawler look and want more speed. This might fit the bill. Have you done a speed test, how fast does this thing go?

I'm impressed and confused. Impressive how tough that sucker is and what it will withstand as far as bashing. Confused how it didn't shit the bed withing the first 5 seconds like a gen8 would have. If the gen 8 had that sort of reliability Axial and the others might feel some competition.

My thoughts is you buy that one from Sean. Put it in a bouncer cage, you know you need another one. Use the body for another build. Also if you change the power system I take donations. LOL

Easy answer as I have the same setup HH Puller Pro 3500kv. You will be blown away by both the low end and the grunt of this thing!

If it were cheaper I would be interested. BUT then again after my redcat volcano epx pro I do not think I will ever buy another redcat rc. Mine has broke everything within 8 batteries.

Definitely too much power for crawler style chassis.. I think it would be sweet with an axe system in it and slow it down a lil bit

I wish they sold this as a roller or a kit with wheels, tires and body less electronics.

I think It would only be right to buy that one from Sean and let him get a new one.

I dunno I’m not really sure full frame makes the best basher platform. I can see lots of breakage occurring . I really don't think my Gen8 would take crashes at speed too well. Looks tippy and unstable to me. Like your videos always watch

LoL I never abuse anything.

I am not impressed. It's not a Crawler, it's not a Rock-Racer, or a Basher (otb). It's nothing in between. I don't wanna waste my time, picking it up like every 10 seconds. Of course I just have to add a crawler motor, but why should I pay some extra for something that already exists? No deal for me.
