    Awesome show !! I actually drive mine on 3s and turn the punch up from 5 to 7. More than enough. Anything more the tires balloon and it becomes unstable and it flips over on it's back.

    It ALWAYS matters what batteries you use. Make sure you go double the C rating if you are gonna blast at 100% duty cycle. If you just run a brushed trail truck, then those zop batteries are OK, but if you wanna go full blast, full time, get good batteries. I honestly think a lot of trouble people have with batteries are because they are asking too much of the batteries and they overheat trying to maintain high amperage draw over extended duty cycles.

  • @rcguygarage

    @rcguygarage

    4 жыл бұрын

    Totally understand what you're talking about and where you're coming from but I still feel this is a good test because as far as what you're talkin about amp draw we had two batteries running in series so my issue is that the one that puffed is the battery that I always had a problem with out of the box (the middle cell of that 3s pack) so whether I'm asking too much from the battery or not it's still because the ZOP Power randomly at times seem to have issues that's the only reason why I brought this up cause I was surprised or taken back as I've ran these exact zop batteries in a vehicle that absolutely devours batteries and for it to be put into a vehicle that was asking much less of these batteries I guess I am just surprised. Remember this is also being in the moment so yeah. But you had a very good explanation concerning the usage of lesser quality cells.

    That’s because this truck likes to be on its lid and has a very difficult time putting the power down. My truck is geared to run 50mph on 6s and when I geared it down to 40mph (going to 12t pinion)it ran out of speed quickly, had a hard time doing standing backflips, and couldn’t change direction in sand as easily running out of wheel speed.

    Awesome truck, and great video. You should get some Pro-Line belted tires, and do another run to see what it will do. Does it have self-righting capabilities, or did you do that yourself? Those tires look like they have some great grip, and I'm curious to see how well they hold up.

    It goes ways ways faster than that I just bought me one and secret don't run extremely fast and go back and forth back and forth then you check your speed. Some of those speed monitors will track the last run you did and erase the PREVIOUS Runs you Had. I will say around 15 to 18 miles faster. I have had a friend who for the love of baby Jesus didn't believe me. But it's only a thought. I'm sure you can see but Hear the difference it's obvious tire lifting truck flipped. Your truck is going much faster than what you showed. Thanks for your Video I love these trucks Awesome paint job wow Datsun pickup truck.

    To be honest with you I have a suspicion that it was the fact that one of the cells which if you did get a chance to watch the video one of the cells in one of the 3s lipo packs ended up having an issue and puffing I'm actually working on a video talking about those batteries right now!!! and I'm also betting that having the extra length of wiring for double packs is also potentially causing an issue even though it is 10 gauge wiring

    @@rcguygarage irs still most likely a 50 mph truck. The question will be for $400 is it better than the 4s Arma's and or is it worth it to spend the extra $79 to $149 for the arma and or Team Corally 6s? Seems to be an Outcast or Dementor competitor (stunt trucks) more so than the Kraton Kronos Etc. What is your opinion?
