We're back in the shop this time around installing the RedArc Tow Pro Elite brake controller in our 2022 Toyota 4Runner. I'll break down all of the major steps and show you the parts needed to make this a simple, factory looking install.
Here's a list of the Red-Arc parts you'll need for the install.
TOW-PRO ELITE ELECTRIC BRAKE CONTROLLER (EBRH-ACCV3-NA)
TOYOTA SUITABLE TOW-PRO BRAKE CONTROLLER HARNESS (TPH-021)
TOW-PRO MOUNTING KIT (EBMK-001)
SWITCH INSERT PANEL TO SUIT TOYOTA TACOMA/TUNDRA/CRUISER (TPSI-007)

Do i have to order the plug n play harness separately or dose it come w the kit?

Wondering if the main control module rattles or makes any noise after install. Or if the trailer brake either drains the battery or any of the fuses.

No rattling. It's pretty well secure in there. The trailer brakes are only activated when you hit the brakes so there's no drain on the battery otherwise. It basically works like a factory integrated brake controller on a larger pickup truck.

You'll need to purchase everything seperately. Here's a list of what you'll need for the Tow-Pro Elite in a 4Runner. @@Eiixzii Not sure which kit you purchased. You'll have to confrim that with the company you purchased it through. I ordered all of the parts individually. They didn't have kits last time I ordered. And you are correct, the harness is TPH-015 for the Taco.
