Awesome edit Khan. I’ve been thinking about getting an iPhone adaptor for my Leica spotting scope. I’ve got an older 77mm one. What’s the best adaptor to get? I like the way you put together your last two videos. I also like the idea of not carrying my big camera, if I don’t have too! Cheers, Craig.

Great video with stunning scenery. I am new to hunting and try to learn as much as possible. You mentioned the coronets of the first stag were "hard down" and he probably was 8 yrs old in his prime. The second stag has coronets not as low down as the first stag, yet you say he was probably middle to older age. Indicating that the second stag is older than the first. Generally the coronets move further down as the pedicles shorten as a result of increasing number of shed sets of antlers. Hence rule of thumb: low pedicles high age. In the video this seems to be the opposite. Simultaneously I saw that the second stag is missing his bay tine on his right and only has a residual bay tine on his left. Receding bay tine is often classified as a possible indication of old age according to many scottisch deer stalkers. Tricky one. Any thoughts?

K F1986 doesn’t sound like you are new to it mate! I believed the second stag was younger than the first although I could be wrong.. I’ve never claimed to know it all. I guess if I make a comment on KZread I’m open to criticism

@@bushbash37 Not intended as criticism. More as a question I wish you would elaborate on and share your thougts/tricks on how to age a stag. As mentioned, I am new to hunting and simply want to gain as much knowledge as possible. Have not been hunting much due to time constraints and lack of hunting areas. Compensating by reading about the various species I hunt. Ageing animals on youtube helps with ageing in the field and making the right call. Want to focus on mature animals past their prime.
