This shoot was a fun one!
Zhong Yi Optics reached out and asked if I would like to collaborate using one of their new lenses.
I have been a fan of their lenses for years so I of course said yes!
Huge shout to them, they are really gonna hit hard with this new T1.0 Cinema line!!
I really hope they release these in EF as well, I have the Kippertie ND system and these would be perfect combo!
The 35mm T1.0 was amazing, it was lightweight the it had warm flares and the bokeh was smooth and creamy! I was expecting a ton of chromatic aberration but to my surprise it was very minimal and in all situations I shot I barley seen any at all!

What gimbal you using with your komodo?? Also are you using a follow focus system as well ?

I am using the DJI Ronin RS2🤘🏼 and as for follow focus it was all planning shots! Manual focus the whole time!

Thank you very much Santiago! As for vignette it was there a little bit but very minimal, I think my variable ND was causing it more so than the lens!

Hi! Great video! What causes the image to twitch like in the shot at 0:26. I always thought that the global shutter fixes this problem.

They didn’t tell me their timeline, but I know there T1.0 cinema line is the current focus!!
